Tayler was very impressive! She's very knowledgeable and great at recommendations without being pushy. You're fortunate to have her. She was very thorough about answering questions and even gave us very helpful information we had not thought of. The store itself has a funny smell, like mold.

Lebeda is the only place I would consider buying a mattress. We lived in Iowa City in 2005, and bought our first Lebeda mattress at that time. We've since moved to Utah and needed a new mattress. Clint at the Iowa City Lebeda store made the whole process of shipping the mattress to us very simple. It arrived, and is wonderful! Thank you to Lebeda for making such great products.

We looked at serveral different stores to purchase a mattress and none compared! The staff here is wonderful! Each time we went in the staff was attentive, helpful and not just trying to make a sale.We love our new Quanta! We won't be buying a mattress anywhere else!

After buying a costly online memory foam mattress from one of those trendy new mattress companies, I regretted my decision after 4 months and couldn't sleep in the bed after a year it was so lumpy, bowed in the middle and soft.
I visited every furniture store and mattress shop in Iowa City. I was looking for an ultra-firm bed and Lebeda had the best by far. I would suggest starting here, shopping around for peace of mind, then returning.response / report this review -

We went to three different mattress places and found something super comfy at Lebeda. They were super nice, knowledgeable and provided a great all around experience, unlike the other places that were too, "in your face". Plus we like that Lebeda is a local Iowa made mattress company. I would never shop for a mattress anywhere else after this purchase. Lebeda is my go to mattress connection.

This place had a comfy mattress or two but I just really didn't like the attitude on the guy helping me. I must say its also nice that they have some high end looking wood furniture and decent prices. To elaborate, a mattress salesman should not really come off as a car salesman type from the get go. What I got from the person who helped us was a "we really don't care about you or your comfort and we just want to sell you something and toss you out the hatch" mentality. I was being forced to try just 2 products and I really wanted to spend time trying the products. I was honestly upset when I left this place. I really felt like they had something that was better quality than the previous bed I purchased, but I was really put off by the demeanor of these people. If I am ever lucky enough to run my own business I will definitely treat people like they are at my house, not like they are inconveniencing me.

I only picked up a pillow. The women behind the desk didn't even get up to help. She didn't seem at all interested in making a sale! Kinda odd! Pillow is nice.
