  Great place and the best chili dogs in town. Great pepperoni rolls too. Great bartenders. One of my fav spots for over 25 plus years. Its the coolest neighborhood tavern I have ever been too.

  Honest, down-to-earth, people in a relaxed old school bar. Think "Cheers" And sometimes they have great live music, in a small, intimate space!

  Great place for a fairly quiet malt beverage although it does get loud now and then. Try Gene's deluxe hotdog, he's been serving them here for over 30 years. Now and then there's some live music

  Gene's is like Cheers. You're not going to get a mixed drink or a steak, bUT you are going to get a good chilli dog and a cold beer. Plus you show up a few times and people start learning your name and your story.
