I was skeptical, but the comedy was pretty great. The first eight comedians I saw were excellent. The last two just ragged on Trump, and in more of a whiny way than funny. But they were from California, so I imagine that lands a roomful of laughs out there with the fruits and nuts.

Laughing Skull is one of my favorite clubs to watch live events. I've been to a few comedy shows here, and the atmosphere is always wonderful. It's super small, so the entire show always feels extremely intimate and like you are truly part of the show.

The only negative is the chairs are a little uncomfortable, so if you are there for a longer show and have back or comfort issues, try to walk around between sets or grab drinks.

Visit this amazing establishment. It's a must stop in Atlanta.

I really enjoy the intimate setting of this comedy club. I've seen a couple open mic nights and Ben Gleib here and both were amazing. It's fun for a group of friends as well as a nice place for a fun date! There are fun places to walk to for food and drinks before or after the show. I highly recommend the Laughing Skull to anyone who enjoys comedy!

Love this spot! Lots of great comedy acts and the small space actually makes it more fun and intimate so you feel like you're getting a private show almost. Occasionally - really big name comedians will make a surprise appearance as well. Definitely one of Atlanta's best comedy venues.

Laughing skull is popping if you enjoy stand up. I saw a lot of talented people and for the price the show is a perfect length. It's inside of vortex so there's plenty of bomb ass food and there's a little bar inside. The drinks are okay Tasting but they pack a punch so after your first one it's delicious.

I had a great time with friends at the Laughing Skull lounge. We showed up ~20 minutes before showtime and were able to get a full row of seats without a problem. They have a two drink minimum, but no one was really enforcing it. I got a Margarita, and it was okay. The comedians were fantastic - truly a hilarious performance. We visited during a competition and watched the semi-final round (8 comedians competed for about 7 minutes each), and it was great. I would definitely recommend this type of show, as you get to see a lot of different talent, and there's less risk of not liking the performance. The only reason I am not giving this place five stars is because they do not serve water in the actual comedy area - you have to go out to the restaurant bar to get it. When we did, the bartender was extremely rude to us. Other than that, the staff was friendly and we had a great time! Definitely buy your tickets online and in advance as they sell out most Friday/Saturday nights.

Seating is tight but you get to see some great national and local comedians right in the back of the Vortex. Grab some dinner and drinks then head to the back for great comedy. Drinks are available in the comedy club as well.

The small room makes you feel like you are in a VIP setting because you are so close to the comedians on stage. Hilarious line-up! Perfect that it's right next to the Vortex too for delicious eats before and/or after the show!

Parking can be tricky, since this is in the heart of Midtown. But, the work is worth it. Super fun, small comedy venue. Drinks are between 4 and 7 bucks, and GA tickets are usually 28 so it's a reasonably priced night on the town.

Great place to see your favorite comedians up close. Small, intimate setting plus you can still hang out at the crowded bar afterwards.

This could be a really hit or miss place. You can go to support an up and coming bunch of stand up comedians but that is about it.
