Arrived at opening time! Was seared promptly! Received water and chips and salsa quickly! Drink order was place! Food order was placed! 45 mins later received food! By that time had eaten to much Chips and salsa! Carnitas were Scorched and very Dry for being so early in day!! Beans and Rice Were just okay! Shrimp Enchiladas were good! Dimitri our busboy was extremely attentive!!! Kept our water glasses full, offered extra chip when it took too long to get our meal. Very disappointed in quality and taste of food for the price!

I must say I was very disappointed in last nights Dinner. The Mission Inn Lights is something we do each year and usually pick one of the restaurants to have dinner after. We had a party of 9, and only 1 plate out of 9 dinners was good. I had to return the Aguaschiles because it tasted like a pile of overcooked mush! The chicken in the tacos and flautas were dry as heck. Regarding the service, our bus boy was awesome. He kept bringing us water, was very pleasant and engaged in discussion about the Light show. Our actual Waiter though has much to learn when it comes to customer service. If you are looking for good Mexican food, pick a different place. We will not be returning here next year for sure.

Unfortunately we never had a chance to try the food. We were seated and then waited 25 minutes for a waitress/waiter to come take our drink order. Luckily the drink and chip guy brought us chips and salsa and water otherwise we’d have left sooner. But after not having a waitress/waiter come by after 25 minutes we got up and left.

Where do I startWe were going to see Dirty Dancing at the Fox Theater and thought we would have dinner first at Las Campanas. The positives about last nightthe atmosphere is beautiful, especially on a nice California Night. The chips and salsa are great and most of our food was delicious. Now the frustrating partour waitress took our drink order and then seemed to go MIA. We later noticed she was taking meal orders for many that arrived long after us. She finally came back and took our meal order and we never saw her for the rest of the night. The very helpful bus boy (not sure what his title was, but he was in a black shirt and appeared to maybe be the bus boy) was very attentive to our table. He noticed we needed drinks and got us new drinks, refilled our chips, and brought out our food. Minus one of our meals that our waitress forgot to place with the kitchen. After most of us finished our meal, the missing meal came out and guess whatit was cold. He had waited long enough for it to come out and we had a show to see so he ate it. All the while our waitress was very attentive to the other tables, but never once came back to our table. Once we were all finished another waiter brought us our bill. My husband pointed out to him that our waitress was not a good waitress. We explained to him her lack of attentiveness and really her lack of being a waitress. He said he would talk to the manager. I think maybe her went and told her what we said and she came up to our table said she took off the meal that was cold and then left. In the customer service industry you expect good customer service, especially when you are paying a lot of money. I gave it 2 stars only because the one waiter and bus boy were attentive to us and most of the food was good, but if I graded based on our waitress and her poor service and cold food it would get 1 star.

Sexy outdoor restaurant located at the front entrance of the Mission Inn.

We were short on time because we had a plane to catch. I didn't get to take many pictures but the ambience was beautiful. Lush green plants surrounded the patio tables outside.

I ordered a Bloody Mary which was tasty. I love spicy. It had a slice of an orange as a garnishment which was unusual.

I ordered chicken flautas. They were amazing. Fresh homemade flour tortillas with juicy chicken adorn with Pico de gallo and avocado gave it that kick they needed. I think the closer you get to Mexico the more authentic the Mexican food is. Just my thoughts.

The presentation was so creative. They had the flautas made into an "X" on the plate. The sour cream was scattered across the entire plate which gave it a creative presentation. The salsa and chips were homemade. I was in heaven!

Overall, great place to eat and the atmosphere is beautiful!

Great staff!! Very friendly and kind. Food was delicious, drinks were again and the atmosphere was beyond relaxing and kind of cozy in a way. Will go back there anytime!!

It's not to expensive but if you are on a budget conscious then it's not that place for you, but it is worth it!!!

Reservations are required. We came during Christmas time. It was so beautiful for the festival of lights. The food was amazing! We had enchiladas, and Chile rellanos. The price is very affordable. For what we ordered we expected it to be more expensive. The service was excellent. Very upscale

Service is outstanding - efficient and caring and unhurried. The traditional kaiseki dinner is excellent, each dish lovingly explained and beautifully presented. Rooms are immaculate, yukatas are crisp and fragrant, amenities top notch. The extra and personal touch was evident in everything they did. Tomoko Okuda is an excellent host, and that she is definitely what makes this ryokan experience truly remarkable.

Overall experience - it's almost a really good restaurant. Many dishes are solid, even fine dining level. Some are pedestrian, so be ready for inconsistency. Drinks are good, although sitting hear the bar is chancy since, per various waiters told us, there's a chronic sneezer there (kid you not). Right across street from Mission so, if you are there for

First I thought it is just a waffle but after having a bite, I changed my mind. It is the best waffle ever had in my life. You can order other menus like steaks and salads with inexpensive prices! And super friendsly staff!!

“Excellent and Fun”
Eight of us dined outside looking at the Mission Inn. We all had an excellent meal and got there early enough to get seats outside (with heaters). They have a great happy hour and the meals are very reasonably priced.
