I love this place! I can bring my dog. They put water out for him. Every meal I get is always great! The waitresses are nice and friendly. Everything about the restaurant is GOOOOD!

I Love their breakfast. I recommend this place. Won't regret and prices are affordable. Great staff and excellent customer service. Hubby and I secret spot.

This place has really gone down hill with the new management. Its Home style food, without the home style taste. Looked like a bunch of college kids running the place without a care for customer service or pride in making the food. We went at 5pm, the place was not packed or busy at all. It looked like the wait staff was turning over, people were waiting to pay and a line started forming to be sat while the waitresses told us somebody else would help us.
The floors were littered with food, and all the tables needed to be bussed before we could get a seat.
We ordered from their specials and the food was nothing to be excited about. The lady beside us said her chicken fried steak was so hard she couldn't eat it. The salad was watery and wilted, chili tasted like it was a week old.response / report this review -

Amazing home comfort eats. My favorites are the COUNTRY FRIED STEAK and TURKEY DINNER plates. Everything is priced very well. Not a large seating arrangement but all seating si comfy and spaced well. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a seat for my family of three. Excellent service and great food at a great price about sums it up.

A great value for good food. I'm very picky about restaurants I'll go to regularly, and while the food isn't the best or most innovative in San Diego, this has become one of my go-to places. The service is always friendly, the food is classic home cooking, and the wait is short. And you can not beat the prices. Love this place.

No longer any good. This used to be a good family restaurant. Now, the food is bad for both dinner and breakfast. Was a long time fan for years but can no longer eat there.

This is a favorite breakfast and lunch stop after a visit to Lake Murray park. The food is good and the waitresses quickly learn to recognize repeat customers . and make you feel welcome. Patio dining for breakfast is nice. Coupons often available on line.

Good food, great prices and dog friendly. After exercising with my dog at Lake Murray, I was seated on their large patio. The hostess bought the dog a bowl of water and she kept filling it until we left. I had the special, a large salad with a delicious dinner roll, clam chowder and a BLT sandwich. All this for only $8.99. Wow!

LOVE THIS PLACE FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH!!! Sometimes the kitchen or the service timing is offbut who is in a rush anyways?!? The staff is great and they are so dog friendly!! I enjoy chatting with the regulars and allowing my little Frenchie to watch the birds!

We have breakfast here on Sunday's, we are able to bring our dogthe service is awesome and the food is delicious, huge portions, country style cookingum um um um um!! They also have weekly specials!! The breakfast specials are really worth itSan Diego Home Cooking family restaurants.
