Really unique and beautiful scenery. I love that I feel immersed in the wilderness since it is away from all the main roads and houses, yet it only takes a few minutes to get here, making it an awesome quick getaway for me and my dogs.

There are not very many trails, so it is more of a picnic area with fabulous views and a few short trails built in. These trails though short, provide a secluded and relaxing escape.

The out house is clean and there are doggy poop bags as well as a trash bin at the parking area. It seems to be kept up very well as I noticed that they replenish the envelopes at the gate and the trash has never been over flowing.

Definitely worth the visit, but don't expect it to be a whole day event. Every time I have been there have been only 1-2 cars in the parking lot.

Wonderful Tamoka run trail takes you through elevation changes and varied habitats from Scrub to swamp and back again. Walk down to the lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

One of my favorite locations to get away from city life. Hike up the small sandy hills and rest at the observation deck at the top. Then walk down the trail to the lake and take in the view from the sandy shore.
