The golf course is really nice and deserves a 5 star rating. The restaurant is a 3. The food is generally good, but that’s a hit and miss. What really made me rate them a 3 were the bugs crawling on the walls. We probably won’t eat there again.
Great course to play at! We really enjoy going there! Real friendly atmosphere. Will be back!
We had a group of 29. service was great and the food delicious. I would go back
Amazing and challenging Golf Course. Lovely staff in the Country Club
Great food, friendly service. Prime rib is excellent!
Great food. Great service.
Had supper there tonight,we had a few complaints about our meal, the taco salad had maybe a Tablespoon of Hamburger on it,instead of the owner just getting so more meat, she actually put her finger in the salad to point out the hamburger after she been carrying around dirty menusWho does this at a Country Club..We will never eat there again.. and said how rude we were.. Poor ownership, that place had been closed before for lack of customers.. We eat out every Saturday night,we will never go there again
Excellent food the best prime rib soup I've ever tasted or had any where great steaks
Nice course. Really reasonable in off season. Gators hang around a lot..
I attended a luncheon at Placid Lakes Country Club yesterday with a group from my church. 3 entrees were offered at a price of $16. The entrees were a chicken salad plate, an au jus sandwich with sweet potato fries and a quiche. I ordered the quiche. We were all given a small dish of cut up fruit drenched in lemon juice as our "salad". As I watched the chicken salad plate come out (a lovely scoop on a bed of greens with tomatoes and dressing) and the roast beef au jus sandwich with crispy sweet potato fries I was looking forward to my quiche plate. I was actually shocked when a plain white plate with a small slice of quiche and a small muffin was unceremoniously placed in front of me and two others at the table. Not a piece of green, nothing to make the dish look invitingjust a bare white plate with two items on it. Certainly not appealing to the eye. While the quiche was tasty I was left with a bad taste in my mouth because of the lack of customer consideration in presenting something so unappetizing on the table. To ad insult to injury the dessert wasn't even provided by the restaurant. In discussing this with others at my table, I was advised that sometimes the food is good and sometimes it isn't. It certainly would not have taken much to make this plate of quiche look like something that a diner would enjoy eating. I wish I could attach the picture I took of it. The only reason I gave it 1 star is that I couldn't post this review without choosing at least 1 star.
