This is one of my favorite hikes in Utah. Some parts are run-able on the way up but not many. On the way down, though, its perfect for a nice downhill trail run. The three ponds are really fun to hike around. Saturday mornings you are likely to run into campers, but there are no fires allowed within a certain distance of the lakes. Really pretty and amazingly close.
Awesome and beautiful hike! It's best done in the spring or summer. That way you get to see all the awesome colorful plant life and the snow is all melted.
Very strenuous hike. The view at top is nice, it's flat and the rock variety is very pretty.
One of my favorite hikes. This is no easy hike at all all. But the reward will be well worthy. Me and a friend went on this hike on June. Almost to the top snow was still knee deep. the view is breath-taking. Take food and water when you are hiking. Also let someone whos not hiking with you know what trail you are in and let them know when you finished the hike and arrived to your car. This is very important for search and rescue teams to locate you in case of an emergency.
It's worth to try this hike beautiful and when you reach the top you say to urself this is off the list
The view at the top is spectacular. Would love to go again!
It's a beautiful view throughout the whole hike. It's a solid climb the whole way up. It's not to hard, but definitely not a beginners trail.
One of the best hikes in Utah. Just a steady, constant incline to get to a phenomenal lake.
Awesome hike with great views. Get outside and enjoy.
Very awesome hike. Keep in mind snow stays around for a while.
This beautiful lake, or cluster of small ponds, is the perfect distance away from the road to keep it secluded and far away from normal foot-traffic you see in other parts of the canyon. It was so picturesque and there's often plenty of wildlife around the lake; deer, birds, moose Highly recommended.
Did this hike a week ago with my two sons. It is rated hard, but i would say its more of a moderate-hard. Some steep parts but nothing an average person cant do. 2 hours up and 1 hour 15 down. The views are well worth it.
