My favorite spot there is Bartlett Lake Flats! It's sandy (not rocky or slimy), you can park even camp next to the Lake, always a great time there :)

Awesome time camping lakeside and kayaking and water skiing. Beautiful, and being in the canyon not as hot as Phoenix. Fire restrictions made for last minute cooking plans. Can't wait to go back.
