Think twice before booking a stay at this location! As soon as we walked in, the carpets were stained and sticky. The room smelled of mold, and the air was hard to take in. The water pressure in the shower was very low. The hotel also did not provide much of any complimentary toiletries and the towels left a lot of shedding on our skin. The springs in one of the beds were off which caused one side of the bed to sink in. The continental breakfast wasn't great and made my mother pretty physically sick. When we called the front desk to ask for a different room, we were answered by the front desk manager and met with horrid customer service. The front desk manager, Bianca, seemed to be upset with us for expressing our concerns and became extremely hostile towards us and asked us to leave. We ended up checking out on Christmas Eve before our reservation was over and asking for a refund. This was one of the worst experiences I've EVER had!! Horrible place to stay!

The La Quinta Inn was definitely below average. The carpets we're very dirty, the first room I was given smelled like old fish. My second room had a musky smell. All the sheets had stains on them. They were also pretty skimpy with their toiletries. The staff however seemed nice and we're helpful. The Continental breakfast was also pretty good. Not the best experience overall though.

I came into town for a business trip and I highly recommend reserving your room off a third party website because we saved $30 on the same room . The hotel has a Japanese theme and is nicely decorated . There were minor flaws for example: faded lettering , uneven shades of paint on the walls, the fire detector wasnt properly attached and the curtains in my room fell when I tried to open them the next morning. The wifi was slow and didn't seem too secure. The hotel didn't have complimentary things like hand soap, body lotion , conditioner , toothpaste, toothbrushes or trash bags. Friendly , fast and easy check-in. Clean rooms and bathrooms. It is in an okay location . Breakfast was over at 9 and we got there at 9:10 and weren't able to get anything. Over all it was okay.

The outside of hotel looks inviting, clean and updated. Check-in went smoothly. Carpets in hallways are extremely dated. Elevators seems in need of servicing. Opened the door to my room and was met with an overwhelming odor of bleach and an indistinguishable sour smell. Reported to the front desk and they sent up Febreeze. Could not give another room, no vacancies. Did not send housekeeping to re-clean room to try to rid smell. Further inspection showed strands on hair in bathroom and on covers of bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked three nights because this chain is pet friendly and we've stayed at La Quinta's before and found it to be good value. This property in Ft. Pierce has been a HUGE disappointment. The sheets were torn, the wall had a large hole, the carpeting is gross and the desk chair looks like it was pulled from a garbage bin. No bags in the trash cans so we had to ask the reception desk for one.

We did complain and the front desk offered to change the sheets but we decided to just cut our visit to one night.

To their credit, the bathroom was clean and the front desk clerk did attempt to address the torn sheets.

All this being stated, think twice about staying at this La Quinta property!

OK staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms. No iron, slide door lock broken, shower curtain wouldn't close because the rod was nearly falling off the wall which flooded the floor, no internet from 11pm until 9am.

La Quinta is the preferred hotel for my company. I have stayed in them from Miami to Alabama and I have stayed here in Fort Pierce numerous times with no complaints. If every La Quinta were like this one it would make being on the road so much a little easier. Compared to many of the other facilities I've stayed in this one gets an A+ from me.

Room was nice. Ruined a pair of shorts trying to iron them with the iron available. Went through 3 irons. None were in usable condition. Left black marks on white shorts.
Staff was good about bringing replacements to no avail.
    Continental breakfast was adequate.

Quite acceptable for the price, but wouldn't be my first, second, or third choice otherwise. I've seen more inviting drainage ditches than their swimming pool, and the rooms could have been a bit cleaner/nicer. Free breakfast is great, but was just make your own waffles, fruit, Danish, or yogurt.

I stay in La Quinta all the time as I travel with my dog and they are pet friendly. This is the worst one I've seen. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Pillows are about 1 inch thick and very uncomfortable. Pull out couch in the room is just a hair better than a prison mattress.

Staff was nice and helpful though, and room appeared to be relatively clean besides the "musty odor." I'll keep staying at La Quinta but hopefully they get all their hotels up to standard.

The rooms was clean but no trash bags in the cans and the place smell of mildew or flooded at sometimes. The pool was green and you couldnt swim in it. They should have compensated from the price of the room for the pool. And i requested a lower floor due to disability and the staff couldn't work with me. But they have a elevator so not all bad.

I liked the central location right off the Florida Turnpike highway. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist. Overall ambiance of lobby was very nice snd elegant. Our room was in excellent condition and the bed was comfy. Breakfast area was full but it was accommodating. There were some good selections of hot breakfast which include waffles, English toast and biscuits. Checkout process was very smooth, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
