Great chili verde, enchiladas. Not a place i would expect to get ribs but they were pretty good. Crispy outside, tender inside. The cheese really makes the food. Very fast service.

This is a favorite spot. My little ones all time favorites. The food is great, and full of flavor. Right price for right portion. Staff is friendly and hard working. The place is great at accommodating large parties. The smoother burrito is the favorite for most of my family followed by the ribs. The breakfast plates are some of my favorite to have any time of day.

If I had to describe this place in one word it would be mmmmmm. Their food is fantastic, and as an added bonus the servers are polite and attentive. And for picky kids who don't like smothered burritos and tamales they have burgers and fries.

Service was fast, prices were decent, portions big and the food was great. I'll definitely come back here. If it's your birthday they will give you a great hat to wear for a bit. That was a lot of fun.

I've been coming here for years and It was one of my favorite places to dine in until last week. Worst experience I have ever had and treatment as a costumer!!!! The service was horrible. The food was cold and I found a bug in my food and the manager tried to argue with me that it was not a bug. Has no respect for his costumers. Spoke to me like if there was something wrong with me being WHITE. The cashier at the front when I went to pay for my food looked like he was under the influence and smelled like alcohol it was DISGUSTING!!!!! Never again will I come here and I plan to report them to the Health Department for cockroaches. I know for a fact it was a cockroach in my food!!!!!!!!!!

I Have been going to this place for years and I've always had such a great experience and most of that credit has to go to our regular waiter , Antonio. He is always so attentive and manages to get our food out fast without us having to wait a long time. Unfortunately , I am only giving 1 star this time because 1 weeks ago when I went in he was unable to serve my table and we didn't have such a good treatment. Our server was rude , wouldn't let us finishing our orders when he was already asking the next person for their order. We sat there 20+ minutes with NO drinks and our mouths of fire from the salsa. After that we got our food 45 minutes after arriving. To top that off we witnessed a waitress slap another waiter. That was the last straw we didn't even finish our meals when we were asking for a check and headed for the door. Moral of the story if Antonio is not your sever LEAVE.

Zero stars. Legitimately the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life. I realize that I'm from San Diego so my expectations are higher, but paying $6 for a smallish burrito with GROUND BEEF seasoned with TACO SEASONING and cheese is despicable. That is NOT Mexican food. That's called southwest style American food. Don't be duped Utah!!!! This isn't Mexican food!!!!! So so gross. The ground beef wasn't even cooked all the way and we got WAY SICK from it. Please stop giving horrible Mexican food places like this your money. Go to Salazar's close by or Victor's Tire shop and Mexican food in west valley. Please.

not much to look at from the outside, we almost missed it, but inside was clean , the staff was friendly and the food wa absolutely amazing if you are in the salt lake area I highly recommend it.

I have had variable experiences at La Puente. Seems to depend on the server, time of day, phase of the moon or ???? Chips and Salsa are consistently great. Chile Verde is the best thing on the menu.

They were fine.
This time, it took 25 some minutes to get our not-so-good food. Beef was overcooked and a bit hard to bite. Guacamole seemed overly diluted. Shrip was not the most fresh. Chips appeared dated. Very noisy due to a downstairs party. Parking lot was dark.

This place has the best burritos, and the service is great too. Whenever I come here we always come out happy and have a good meal. I think this is one of the best services. There is a waitress that is really good. His name is Paco and we get him a lot. Every time he comes and asks us if everything is OK and also asks us if we need anything else.
