I have eaten at LDV several times over the past two years. Great food, a little on the pricey side, but my last experience will probably prevent me from ever going back. My wife and I ordered dessert to go. At $8.95 each, it was very expensive, so I was expecting something special. When we opened up the desserts later in the evening, the portion sizes were incredibly small. This ruined the entire meal for both of us. LDV, you've lost two customers!

Nice place with good food. Out of 6 visits only 1 was a bad experience. Our last visit the place was empty and the service was so bad. However, id still recommend this restaurant just dont get the blonde girl as a waitress.

Great food, friendly service, very relaxing, would definitely go again. Was impressed over all. Not to many good restaurants in plainfield. This may be the best. Thank you for making my sister's Birthday a nice one!

Mothers day party of 8, dinner at 6 pm. Food really great, very tasty. Service very poor. They called to advise they were limiting parties to 2 hours, however if you tell people that you should be prepared to push the food out of the kitchen quickly. No bread, no cheese, until we asked 3 times, then 10 minutes later it appeared. Top it all off gratuity was included with the party size so I had to tip 20% for poor Service! Too bad, the food is really good. I suggest carry out.

Great place. We were early so we had no problem getting a table. There is usually a wait. They only take reservations for groups of 6 and over. Food and service are always spot on!

Proper Italian restaurant. Ravioli was perfect, with a very tasty tiramisu and coffee to finish.

Would recommend if you find yourself in the area.

We left.. 25 minutes for the appetiser almost 10 minutes to see a server on our anniversary. Nice place but poor service.

My family and I have both dined at this restaurant, and catered from them. The restaurant itself was very well decorated in its Italian setting. The pictures on the wall I personally liked of some of the older famous people that my generation didn't have the pleasure of seeing. The service is excellent, and food is served in a perfect timely manner. Now the food itself I thought was delicious. The portions are perfect. Not too much or too little. Every part of the meal the food is fresh. From: the bread, to the salad, to the pasta, and meat dishes. they have a great selection of wines as well. I personally prefer Red, but they have a great selection of whites as well. Now the catering was my first time. I wasn't sure how many people I was expecting so I gave them a "around about number" of how many guests. They went into detail about the dishes I wanted to serve and made a recommendation of how much of each dish I should get. They were very patient, and answered all of my questions I had. It turned out to be plenty. Literally, every one of my guests complimented the food, and went back for seconds! I can't wait to dine at this restaurant again, and I would definitely recommend them for your dining or catering experience!
