Personal family favorite. Family owned and run for more then 50 years. Their pizza is unique and you'll never taste another like it! The ribs are to drool for. Weekly dinner specials. (Closed on Monday). The menu has a little of everything for everyone. They also make their own house vinegar for salads but it's also terrific on garlic bread and the pizza!
For some fine Italian dining, wonderful ambiance and a friendly staff LaCantina Restaurant is the place to go.response / report this review -

First time at this spot. Heard about it and had time to check the place out. Ordered a large pizza to go. Took a look at it and knew right then this was special. Delicious and so filling. Again, if you are in this area and you like good food check this restaurant out!!!

I was incredibly disappointed, the ravioli we're over cooked the sauce was burnt, couldn't eat the sausage. The presentation was horrible, I don't understand why it's so popular, would never go back. Perhaps my expectations are higher than most coming from an Italian family background.

I really don't understand how this place has such a high review. The spaghetti is acidic, and cheap, I've had better pizza in the freezer section of Walmart. The veal Parma was like eating a hockey puck. This place is expensive for no reason. Save your money and eat ANYWHERE else.

We went there on 2/11 and my husband ordered the steak and lobster tail special on the valentines menu. We just assumed it was around $30 like other restaurants price it. Got the bill and it was $55 for that. Not worth it in my opinion at all. There were no prices listed next to the specials. Would never go again.

I've been going to LaCantina's since I was a little girl; my family even had their "own" pizza there (just the same order for decades). The place is amazing!! When you walk in the door the first thing that will hit you will be the most delicious smell you've ever smelled!! The pasta is delicious but their pizza is not duplicated anywhere else in the world - let me put it this way: their pizza is the pizza I compare all other pizzas to. TRY. IT.

Good food, big portions and good service! I met the owner of the restaurant, she is a really sweet lady. She was checking on each food was coming out from the kitchen. When you are in Paw Paw and you like Italian food this is the place to eat!
