Starting with complimentary sparkling wine tastings? Nice! Pairing next tastings with whitefish dip or other great tastings was superb. Great views from multi-level patio, which included radiant heaters. Fantastic way to spend an autumn day!

L Mawby is a solid stop along the wine trail on Leelanau! They create only sparkling wines and have a beautiful view. We were there for the Taste the Season event--they served a sharp white cheddar on apple chips. The apple chips were great and also available for purchase. They served us the Sandpiper to start, and then allowed a sweeter or drier taste (Fizz or Blanc de Blanc).

Although I rarely buy wine from L Mawby because even their sweet wines are not sweet enough for me, many of my friends love and purchase their wine. They have sample plates that come with either a white fish pate or a cheese spread that are good, and they also serve a mimosa on certain days. Worth spending some time!

One of the happier tasting places. Staff was great and enjoyable, loved the food and sitting on the patio overlooking the vineyards. Will visit again when in the area.
