There's at least one racist waitress here. Yup! Our waitress came to our table, and from the word go she was rude and condescending. She went to the next table (with no brown/black people) 2 mins later and she had her best service smile. That's how I knew she wasn't having a bad day or anything. The food is good, no doubt. But there's no place for racism in this world, sorry. Ruined a good dinner!

Great service, great atmosphere, chef was great and the food was amazing
I was about to go to the Kumo in Fort Myers but after reading the reviews I decided on Cape Coral and I'm glad I did. Took my wife for our Anniversary and it was definitely worth the drive. Thank you to the staff and management for the pleasant experience.response / report this review -

November 26th, 2017 I had the best Mexican sushi roll ever. The dynamite roll was just as great. Servers were polite and attentive and restaurant was very clean. All the incredients for a great place to have sushi

Super awesome sushi! I am super picky about sushi and all I can say this was a great place to eat! My personal favorite is the Mexican Roll & the Dynamite roll 🙌🙌 super nice waiter and they even gave my boyfriend “chop stick helper” to help him use his chop sticks yay!! 😆

This is my favorite hibachi to go to. The chefs are always skillful and enjoy what they do. The ambiance is 10x better now that is remodeled. We bring our daughter and she loves it. Amazing place with amazing food.

Service was superb. Definitely the most memorable I've ever had and we eat alot of habachi. So much so that i even make it at home. The food was as good as my favorite spot at home. I'm picky about the yum yum sauce because i know many times it is house made and don't always taste the same and what is habachi without yum yum sauce. I even enjoyed the family we sat with. I have never sat with such an awesome couple. Plenty of food. And the fried rice 👌 I even saw a new trick from the chef that i haven't seen. Salmon and shrimp cooked perfectly. The person who cleans the table waited patiently as we finished our dinner (we were late diners) and truly seemed unbothered. Fantastic visit.

I came in with no reservations on a Sunday during off season as a party of 4 and it was slow. We were seated right away at the hibachi grill and took our order for drink and a appetizer. They had no other grill going during this time. They didn't take our order for hibachi for 40 minutes and then they seated another group and quickly took their order. When the waitress came back to give the other group their drinks, salads and soups, I asked for our bill. We had been there for a hour at this point. Our waitress was apologetic and nice but after a hour with out our chef still being out and they had no other grills going is just really bad service.

My husband and I enjoy having dinner at Kumo. Our favorite waiter Alex and waitress Samantha always make our experience an enjoyable one. Alex always remembers what we like to eat and drink and always has a big smile when we arrive to the restaurant.

Amazing atmosphere, sushi is one of the best, full liquor bar, and the Hibachi is a great show with some of the tastiest dishes you can eat.

There were eight of us and each couple had a Groupon. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the presentation was awesome. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here.

Been there a few times before with no issues. Was there a few months ago and it was a unorganized mess. Nobody knew how to organize the reservations that we had, we waited over an hour past our reservation time and when asked a time we got the response of "we're not sure when you will be seated". Sorry but I won't be back.

Great atmosphere! The staff are very friendly, we made reservations and it did not take long to be seated. The cook at our Hibachi table was very fun and friendly, we had a great time and would recommend it to everyone.
