Usually Kohls is top notch but this trip was very frustrating. I was out of town for a conference and stopped in to get a sweater and a couple other items. I checked out using my Kohl's credit card to receive an extra savings. I immediately paid the bill at the register with my debit card so I would've have a balance on my Kohl's card.
I left the store and went to my hotel. When I got to the room, I looked at the receipt and realized that I had been charged twice for the sweater and hadn't been charged for the earrings I purchased. I called the store and was transferred to loss prevention. The lady I spoke to was not very friendly. I got put on hold so she could review the transaction and, after about 10 minutes, she came back on the line and said she located the transaction and I needed to come to the store to get things fixed. I asked if I could get the credit over the phone and was told they couldn't do that.
By this time it was late so I went back the next day at lunch break. I presented the receipt and the earrings so I could get my credit and be charged for the earrings. I had to wait for them to find where the loss prevention had left the note. Finally, they found it and began to adjust the transaction. I told the gentleman that I had paid off the card on the spot and presented the receipt. He informed me that he couldn't refund my money to my debit card because I had used my Kohl's card. I told him I don't shop at Kohls often and didn't want to have a credit on my Kohl's card. He stated there was nothing he could do about it.
I don't understand why they couldn't refund to my debit card after I provided proof of paying the balance. Additionally, I am forced to go to Kohls just to use the credit. I live about an hour away from the closest Kohls store. I don't shop for clothes online as I need to try things on.
What began as a cashier's mistake has ended with me having to make a third trip to the store just to get my credit. Ridiculous. It's going to cost me more in fuel to go bank again than my credit is.

Went in around 10 pm to look for a dress. Staff was very nice. They didn't have a whole lot of dresses. Too cold for one with short or no sleeves. I do not like the weird styles these days.

I really like the Kohl's atmosphere but they're kind of expensive in my opinion. I know they have good deals once in a while but I'm not sure I'd consider them good enough to offset their typical high prices. My family and I had a great time looking at early Christmas stuff the other day. They have many beautiful and fun Christmas items. We like get some of our Christmas pajamas here every year.

Ordering from online and returning an item back to the store is nothing but a struggle for these people. Boots I ordered were not to my liking, I took them back to the store the day after I received them and the employee couldn’t find my order. She had the nerve to ask “Ma’am are you sure you bought these from us?” “Ma’am your Kohl’s charge doesn’t show you bought these.” “Well damn! Free boots!”I stood and laughed package said Kohl’s. That experience was probably the worse from them I’ve ever received.

Witnessed a mother and children be interrogated by the rent a cop over a $1 candy bar! Get a real job! Way to traumatize those poor kids. I can't believe the manager just stood there letting it happen. Shame on you!

Short on sizes of items I came for. Computers had been upgraded and checking out was slow. I love this store, but today's experience was below its usual standard.

Kohl's and J.C.Penny's are my go-to stores when I need nice quality something specific. They may cost more then a discount box store however. Assistance on the floor is rare, Variety of items is good, usually there is some sort of sale which will save you a few $$.

It is clean and we'll laid out so you can shop easily. I usually find what I need and good sales most of the time. They are working on the internet presence and making rewards program better.

I love Kohls cash, although i hate that it now expires. The clothes are great for work or school. It's difficult to find anything for a night on the town however.

I shop here regularly for kid's clothes- but I have noticed a trend that makes me want to go elsewhere, despite the fact that I am saving a little money: Every other time I arrive at Kohl's they are chasing down, subduing, or calling police on shoplifters. It must be a big problem here. I rarely have seen this happen at bigger stores, like Wal-Mart, Dillon's, even the malls. It MUST be happening several times a day, every day, for me to run into this scene on my way in the door 4 times in a 2 week period! It is scary and off-putting- twice I just got right back in my car and left. I saw 2 employees tackle a guy in the parking lot after chasing him around for a minute screaming "Give me back my merchandise!" I stayed in my car and recorded this until the police arrived to rescue the guy from underneath the security that were laying on top of him. Is it really worth it to create this type of drama in front of children and customers? I tell my daughter she has to stay home with daddy when I go to Kohl's because it is too dangerous. And this is very inconvenient because it is hard to buy shoes for a child without trying them on. I decided it was safer to buy 4 pairs, take them home, try them on, then return what didn't work. So, obviously, I like shopping here, as I stated, because the prices are great. But, when I heard myself saying that, I knew I had to write a review. Kohl's needs to review how they handle these minor offences before somebody gets hurt- physically or in the sales numbers

This place can put people in the Grinch spirit very quickly. Overly stocked, can't walk down the isle, hard to find anything. Makes you want to order everything online and not shop at any retail outlets.

Who doesn't love Kohl's? Fashionable styles and you can usually find a good sale item. I try to never pay full price. I can usually find a nice casual button down for around $15 and a good fitting pair of pants for $30.

Kohl's has great quality merchandise. Their prices are a little high but there is almost always some kind of sale going on. I like that they are really good about letting you return items.
