Good prices on close out stock but average prices on the 'good' stuff. Very messy with merchandise scattered all over the place. Evidently it's not a priority for the limited staff to keep the store organized and clean. No thought appears to be used in placing and organizing, i.e. Merchandising . Recommend shopping online and picking up at the store if you really want to go out to shop.

This store always has great sales but they used to have a great selection of sneakers now it seems like men have a choice off Nike or Nike with a couple other styles of other brands. Hey Kohl's buyers not everyone will wear Nike

I don't shop here much, but I happened to find the gift I was looking for at a great price on their website, so I bought it. Then on cyber Monday I saw that there were further discounts, so I called to see if they would retroactively honor the new price. I was told to return the item and order a new one. So I went to the Palm Desert store and was helped by Muhammad. He was quick, friendly, and helpful. I thought that the "cyber" price would be cheaper, but he let me know that the item I returned would be marked lower than the online price! So I bought it back at a significant discount.
I had to write a review, because even though customer service reps should be expected to be helpful, often they are not. Maybe because they're trying to move the line along. Maybe because they forgot the golden rule Whatever.
Muhammad helped beyond the standard that I'm used to at department stores. He treats customers like they're friends.

Gotta love this store! When you use your Kohls card and take advantage of the sales and coupons, the savings are fantastic. The merchandise is good quality, and selection is plentiful. Loyal shoppers are rewarded.

Last time I was here there seemed to be a problem with their speaker system. It kept repeating "Boys please, Boys" excessively. Me having my 3 young boys with me, it honestly made me feel uncomfortable. Needless to say i won't be shopping at this location. Rude management as well.

No LARGER SIZES for women as in 2X, etc. Shopping for my mom and YES she is on a larger scale, but finding appealing clothes shouldn't be so hard.

The store is pretty clean. ..
-Graffiti in the changing rooms needs to be removed ASAP.
-Staff have been really nice.
-Please remove or replace damaged furniture see photo.

Do people all fit into clothes that stop at one xl. I see huge americans everywhere but no clothes stores that sell clothes at normal big american sizes.

Not very happy. I just needed to ask a simple question (if I could take the shoe that was on display since they didn't have any other in my size) & it seriously seemed like the employees were hiding from people. Or mayhe hiding isn't the proper word, it was more like they'd see you & literally turn the other way! When I decided to just go to customer service, they actually tried to tell me to go back to the department I was at to ask the employee there who was nowhere to be found by us customers. The reason I'm okay with this is because I did get a pretty good deal on my shoes & I like places I can pay with my Samsung.

This Kohls is pretty good. The customer service was great. We were looking for a men's suit kerchief, but they don't carry them (which is why I couldn't give them 5 stars), but I was impressed with the customer service. We asked for help in locating the kerchief in the men's section. We started moving to a different department and the associate actually tracked us down and walked us to the location. She was bummed she couldn't find what we needed, but it was fine. Overall, a great experience.
