This place is fantastic! It's reasonably priced, especially for the area. Quick, friendly service, a buffet of traditional, tasty toppings & condiments, and they're open late- plus fun decor with character! I'm perplexed as to why it's never been busy when I visited Perhaps my visits were at more "off" times/days than I recall? I didn't mind not waiting in line though :)
    I'll be back!

Amsterdam falafel is one of my go to places for food in Adam's Morgan. The staff is generally nice and helpful, the options for customization are vast, and the food is fresh and hot. The prices are fair and service is quick. Definitely a favorite spot for me and my vegetarian fiance.

Great for folks who are really nostalgic for Amsterdam in the 1970s and 80s. Otherwise - the food is mediocre and the rules are a bit annoying. “Don’t eat falafel with a fork. Don’t put toppings on this” There are lots of topping options but many of them are pickled things or sauces - it would be nice if there were more fresh options besides the eggplant that is burned to a crisp.

Still the best!!! Custom options and make it how you want it!. Always pleasant to customers and this is the real deal. I have tried a few other new Falafel places but always keep coming back to your shop.

Dropped by here in the early morning after a disappointing night at a nearby bar. This place made up for that, and then some.

Excellent tasting Falafel and pita, the toppings all tasted fresh and the food was very filling. The price was good too, pleasantly surprised.

Only knocking a point because the tables were a bit dirty, although we might have caught them at a busy time.

    Final scores:
    Service: 10/10
    Food/Drink: 10/10
    Atmosphere: 8/10
    Price: 9/10

One of my friend had suggested this restaurant, and I am so glad he did. It was for sure the best Falafels I have ever eaten. I stayed in Washington for two nights and I visited this store three times. When I think about Washington DC, I remember the taste of FalaFel I had here. LOVED IT.

Falafels were alright. Good range of toppings and you can retop if u use the small cups they provide. Service was not that great. Seem annoyed while ringing up and answering questions.

When the place is disgustingly dirty, tables are not cleaned after customers finish their meals, and when you see cockroaches flying and climbing the wall near the tahini sauce dispenser, you do not give this filthy disgusting place more than one star. We didn't wven eat the food, just threw the whole meal in the garbage.

They are really cool here and they keep the place clean. You can add your own toppings to your sandwich or bowl. I love that they are open until 2:30 am because it's like the only place a vegan can eat at that time other than at home or Safeway.. so they come in clutch!

Wonderful french bistro making all the classics well. Wonderful environment with great staff that takes great care of you. You will feel like you walked off the street in Paris.

22 toppings and open to 3am. You really don't need to know anything else. Dive atmosphere but cool pictures of Amsterdam and decor inside. Service is good and music is fun. They are open super late for those nights when you need Falafel loaded with toppings. The Falafel is okay, but that's not really the point. The point is you get something other than street meat at 2:20 am and enjoy yourself while doing it. Totally worth it.

This place was amazing! The falafel was perfect, all you can eat toppings that were all fresh and tasted great. Small place, but enough seating for us on a busy Saturday night. Music was good too.

I've never been to a place that doesn't serve meat and is open till 2 AM - so this was a first! With that being said, the food here is scrumptious. It doesn't seem to be lacking any flavor despite not having any animal protein. The sauces are easily some of the tastiest ones I've had and the choice of fillers for your sandwich make for a unique taste every time you try it.

If you're still on the fence and aren't sure - just try it! You'll definitely enjoy the experience and might even make this a regular stop whenever you are in the neighborhood - or even if you aren't :)
