Great place! The shop has lots of little trinkets and the carousel is just fun for all ages. There is a good variety of shops and food for everyone.

They have a very nice and varied collection of carved Carousel horses and other menagerie animals. In the price of the of admission is two rides on their fully restored eclectic carousel. It moves faster than the ones at fairs and amusement parks. When i asked about it the explained that the adult ones use to move this fast and the children's one moved much slower. We were riding on an adult one ;)

I have been going here since I was a little kid, and even though I'm an adult now I still find emense joy from riding the hand carved horses. I love the music and the things in the giftshop are beautiful. It's everything a carrousel should be.

This is just one of the great parts of downtown Mansfield. My girls adore the Carrousel. Well worth the visit and a great spot for birthday parties.

Great carrousel! Tickets are fairly cheap, and never expire. The staff inside the gift shop is very friendly, though the actual carrousel operators aren't particularly social or overly friendly. My daughter always wants to keep riding and riding. Luckily, there is a gumball machine just outside the ride, and it's easy to convince kids to finish up riding if there's a gumball for them at the end.

What a great way to spend an hour or two in downtown Mansfield. My 18 month old absolutely loved the carousel. I have heard a few people complain of the noise, which is something I am usually sensitive to. However, it was at a pleasant volume and the staff was so friendly. This is a fun, inexpensive way to enjoy an afternoon for people of all ages. I highly recommend it! It is also a great location for birthday parties.
