Lots of deals to be found here, it's clean and has really nice lounge chairs and charging stations for people to read or play on there tablets or cell phones while waiting for the misses or mr's to do their shopping. It's a really great shopping experience. Looks beautiful when decorated with all the Christmas trees and music. 🎅Merry Christmas 🎄
Always fun going to the mall ever since I was a little kid. I wish they still had red Robbins restaurant and the carousel. I used to love that carousel! !
This mall is one of the smallest malls that I have been in and it doesn't help that a number of the stores have closed down for good such as Sears (see picture). A few stores are going under renovation. Some stores are still in the process of construction. You could probably walk through the mall and see all of the open stores on the first and second floor in a matter of 12 minutes. There is no food court the places where you can dine are scattered throughout the mall. The saving grace of the mall is the cookie house that as far as I know has been there since the mall opened. Great chocolate chip cookies.
They're finally upgrading the mall and are in the process of extending and adding more stores. The mall now is a square shape with stores all around. It's a happening place and definitely fun going to. Last time i was there they filmed law and order
Paid parking is available as well as street parking if you're willing to walk a few blocks.
It's improved over the last 20 years, parking it's currently only $3 which is very cheap compared all the places. There are many new shopping stores that were never there before. They also have little snack shops and chain restaurants. Macy's my favorite is still there and mall has been remodeled over last few years giving a fresh new look.
Love shopping here. I get all the beauty supplies i need here. My son loves it because he can go on the rides offered to children there.
Horrible experience. One of the workers at the message concession ( the tall African American man) grabbed my shoulder pretty hard and said that I needed a message. They were selling some message device. I happened to be strolling my 4 year old boy. I told him not to touch me, then he claimed that I bumped into him! He then threatened me. He told me that if I don't "shut my mouth" that he would break my face. Then he kept on insisting that I bumped into him. I have been a customer for years, and now I do not think that I ever want to come back to kings plaza. I'm very disgusted.
Been around for a long time. Atmosphere is changing tho, with the "times". But still seem to never really have anything eye catching in stores. But good enough if you need to find a outfit really quickly, for a night out.
I've been visiting Kings Plaza since I was a kid. I was upset when they took the theatre away but most of the changes have been for the better. It's much cleaner now. Better stores, better selection.
Can't give 5 stars because of the food court and selection. The food is scattered in many locations. I can see that they are making changes to this.
Sears and Modell's closed and the front area is undergoing major renovation. Interested to see what stores will take the place of these anchor tenants.
Beautiful shopping mall. Everything you need is there. Good selection of shops. They even have seating areas where you can plug your phone in. I would give Kings Plaza five stars but sometimes the quality of their employees isn't the best.
I'm definitely not a big box shopper so I don't see myself returning to kings Plaza. I did see the appeal for those that like to keep up with their neighbors.
It's one of those places where a car is advisable if you are a serious shopper. I caught the bus and lucky for me it wasn't rainy.
It's so far away by public transportation!! Lol but I've worked there and the mall itself is pretty clean and have a wide range of stores. However, they should probably control what time the high school kids are allowed to float through the mall especially during school hours.
I remember being a kid and running to the carousel. That was my favorite part of Kings Plaza as a child. I guess over the years the mall needed a much needed update. It is slowly looking better. The parking lot has a much more efficient system. So thumbs up for that.
I haven't shopped here in a few years. Kings Plaza has definitely changed for the better. Lots of modern stores. It is also much cleaner. Their parking lot is so vacant that they rent out spaces to local dealerships. For all the Kings county residents, who moved on to other malls like I have, after having the convenience of a car - Return to your roots! Give KP another look 👀
