The three bean thing is a very interesting dissert. We highly recommend 88 and 113 also.
I got the tofu rice (#94) and didn't really like it. My wife got beef noodles (#84) and we both liked it. Really fast getting the orders made for people in a hurry.
I absolutely love this place. The food tastes like it is made to order. I have never once received a cold dish here.
The menu has both Vietnamese dishes that we weren't familiar with and a page of more familiar Chinese entrees. We shared a whole fish and with appetizers it was enough for the two of us and that made the cost quite modest. The server was very helpful in explaining which dishes were enough to share and which were not. We'll be back but I like to be a bit adventurous. If you are looking for your basic Chinese carryout, this isn't that.
Get the 86, they will ask if you like spicy every time.
I live in VA but come to Indy 2 or 3 times a year and ALWAYS come to KW! I'm not an expert but have eaten a good share of Vietnamese food in US and ranks highly. I love the Bun with egg roll #82 and would recommend it for beginners. The fruit shakes make a nice dessert. Try Vietnamese coffee too! Great food at great price. If you are tired of Americanized Chinese, try this fresher tasting lighter food. Just do it!
Tried their pho and it's excellent! The broth is very flavorful and slightly sweet. Their fruit smoothies are also very good. We had a sweetsop and a avocado smoothie. Both used real pieces of their fruit and tasted great!
Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good Vietnamese cuisine.
Went in because I heard good things about the pho have to wonder what kind of smoke and mirror act that is because compared to sizzling wok, this place doesn't compare. I had the chicken pho and it was atrocious. Couldn't even finish it. The noodles were clumped together. The broth was cloudy and oily looking. There was a foul stench . I tried the broth and it was a bad combination of salty blandness. The noodles had a grainy texture. Gross. I can usually salvage phos with blasts of siracha sauce which i won't put into the broth if its good. But even with that it still was terrible. Overrated. On top of that the service was mediocre
Best pho And Vermicelli I've had. Great service. Very kind and fast.
We are the jerks that came in 30 minutes before close because I had a terrible craving for soup! Our server was extremely welcoming and informative on helping us pick out the right Noodle Soup. I got #114 SPICY and my boyfriend got the #109. Both were amazing. I think the #109 was more traditional but I loved mine because it had more of a salty/spicy vibe to it. She didn't rush us out the door and was eager to see which one we liked better! Not to mention, our total was less than $20. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic food, cheap prices. Honestly, this is the best pho I've had in this country. Broth is lovely, flavorful, and clear, and they pack it FULL of noodles and whatever meat you want. One time, we were craving american-style Chinese food, and we tried out the rest of the menu. It was also really good. Definitely American-style Chinese, but better than any Chinese place I've been to in Indiana. And it's ridiculously cheap and fast. Really a diamond in the rough, here, just make sure you don't get confused and go to *King's Wok* down the street!
If you're looking for some tasty Vietnamese food this is your place. Not only is the food amazing but they're also competitively priced.
It's also a wonderful spot for vegan eating!
