Although this place is home to some great games (Go Neers!!), I can't help but feel that the track that loops around the field makes the whole stadium feel like it belongs at a highschool.

An away team fan was amazed at the noise level leading up to the game. "Is the crowd always this loud?", she asked. "Wait until the game begins.", I replied.
Even in early September at 3,333 ft elevation, you can feel fall in the air adding to the evident football season.

This is a one-of-a-kind experience for college football. This newly revamped stadium has an all-new visitor side with concession stands and new box seats and home-side seating as well. The food and drink selection is great with plenty of local food vendors setup under the bleachers. The crowd is deafening at the rock and the place is packed no matter how good the team is that year. The Rock hosts soccer, field hockey, football and track and field and is the most gorgeous stadium in North Carolina.
