Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The trip was about 45 minutes one way. Water time was about one hour. It was a little choppy that day. The coral was certainly not nearly as good as what we saw in Bahamas. But we enjoyed the snorkeling.

Captain Bedford and Dive Master Ed were the best! Check in at the shop was quick and painless and we were given concise directions to the dock. We left right on time and Captain Bedford and Ed made sure we were clear on the itinerary, rules, and regulations before we left. We were taken to a beautiful reef with tons of fish and plenty of time to snorkel. Then, we headed to the Christ statue, just 10 minutes up the reef. It was so beautiful and of course the fish were plentiful there too. The last stop was a different part of the first reef that did not disappoint.
The crew was so hilarious yet professional and the reefs were the best pick. Definitely go with this place if you come to Key Largo for snorkeling!response / report this review -

Key Divers was great! This place is very conveniently located, the prices were great and the experience tremendous. Captain Bedford and his mate Tim were super experienced, informative and made the trip an absolute blast! They will make you laugh as well. They take you to a number of reefs and explain exactly what you will see and how best to see it. If you plan on snorkeling in the Keys this is the place to do it. Jenn and I will be back.

By far my favorite key largo dive charter! They have excellent customer service, Ann's know all the best dive (and snorkel) sites. The captain and crew always go above and beyond, and they run a very safe operation. Can't recommend enough!

Captain Bedford and Tim were our guides. They were extremely professional but kept it light and fun. Tim was so knowledgeable of the fish we saw and answered all our question. When we ran into a swarm of jellyfish, they brought us to a less crowded part of the reef, where we could swim in peace!

Been snorkeling many time in the keys and this was by far the best trip I've been on yet. Crew was helpful and entertaining. We made 3 separate stops including Christ the abyss all were amazing and would highly recommend.

Went there last February for a family snorkeling trip. We traveled out and went to one spot for the midday trip. It was a bit windy and the water was a bit choppy even inside the reef. The day was nice otherwise, bu the visibility in the water was only about 10-15 feet, so we started traveling for another spot, which should have been a bit better. the captain received word that all the spots were pretty bad overall and recommended canceling the trip for the day. The captain and his first mate gave us the choice of turning around and providing a full refund for everyone if we wanted to or continuing on for another 30 minutes to reach the new reef destination. We opted to continuing on and got lucky although the swimming was a bit tougher and visibility wasn't great, but my family had fun. The captain and first mate were great and I appreciated the offer to get a refund and fun ride on the boat. great all around. I'd return to them in the future.

Loved the snorkel tour. The boat wasn't too crowded, but still had plenty of people on it. The water was warm and beautiful.

The staff at the office were great and very helpful. Easy to book and they provided great directions to the marina where the boat was. The crew were exceptional, they gave clear instructions before leaving the dock and again prior to entering the water. Please note that Key Divers provides everything you need to go snorkeling. You receive mask and snorkel, fins (many sizes available) and flotation device to use during the tour (check with other snorkel tours as many do not and you have to purchase your own). These guys really care about the customer experience, many times while underway to the reef Gavin would ask how everyone was doing and if anyone had any questions and shared fun facts about annual human deaths due to shark attacks versus annual human deaths due to falling coconuts (ask him), etc. The location chosen to snorkel on was great, lots of great corals, fish and other ocean life. We saw a sea turtle, a few barracuda and a huge spotted sting ray among many of other fish/sea life varieties. Overall I couldn't ask for a better experience, the value of service far exceeded the amount spent. As a Florida native I tell you first hand that doesn't happen very often.

The staff in the office and the two on the boat were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. These folks know their stuff. The equipment was all in good condition. The weather was perfect and we were able to make 3 stops on our afternoon trip. +++ Would definitely recommend these folks whether it's your first time out or if you've been snorkeling before.

I researched many options for a snorkeling tour in Key Largo before I booked the 4 hour tour with Keys Diver. We chose not to go with the parks tour because we wanted a full service experience and were willing to pay more to have an amazing day. First, they tell you you have arrive at least an hour before the trip leaves to check in. I figured they must go through safety information and get your gear or something in that hour. They do not! They had us fill out a sheet with personal info that took about 1 minute and said drive across the street to where the boat is docked and wait an hour until they arrive. This was upsetting, we had to waste a whole hour waiting around when we could have spent that time enjoying the morning. Things got worse once we were on the boat. The crew seemed to mostly be interested in flirting with a few women on board and ignored the needs of the rest of the snorkelers. It was very annoying, I had asked multiple times for help with my mask and later in the day got seasick and I might as well not even existed. My boyfriend's mask was leaking badly and the crew argued and wouldn't give him another one. Overall, the their focus was clear, they were interested in flirting with a couple of the women and had no interest in anyone else.
The grecian rocks reef was the first stop and was beautiful. The swells at the Christ of the Abyss were so bad, several people got sick. Neither myself, nor my boyfriend even went in the water at the third stop. It would have been nice if the captain had taken us somewhere else since the weather was bad that day. Very disappointing day. If you are expecting the extra money you pay to buy you extra attention, that is not the case.response / report this review -

On vacation in key Largo we had our first trip snorkel trip out with Keys Diver. The boat was nice and the captain and crew were "cool kids". Our experience was mixed mostly due to the weather, vis was down and the waves were up. We can say in retrospect if ever a Captain says, "its fairly rough out there, if you want to stop now and get your money back" we recommend taking that advice. It also might be said that Keys Diver should have canceled this trip on the front side. We found the four hour tour out of Pennekamp to be an exceptional value that got repeat business from us.

This is a company that really focuses on the customer experience. They made it super easy to understand what the day would look like and provided detailed instructions about the every aspect of the trip. As a bonus, they even had prescription snorkeling masks you could use which was helpful for my daughter that wears glasses. They have a great sense of humor and really interact with the snorkelers. They provided many helpful tips about snorkeling that made it that much more enjoyable. On the trip back they even changed course a few times so we could get up close to the dolphins that were following us along the way. I'll be seeing them again on our next trip to Key Largo!

THE VERY BEST SNORKELING experience ever! We took the Sunday 12:00 trip to three locations. Captain Tim and his crew were professional, knowledgeable and made sure we were all having a nice time and that we were safe. I cant put into words how beautiful the dive areas were. I am from Florida and I have been snorkeling for a very long time and must say this was truly the best experience ever.
