Good nights rest clean good breakfast the people were excellent. I will be back 5 star.
So pleasantly surprised when we pulled up here. This by far is the cleanest most hospitable hotel experience I have ever had. Even the parking lot is flawless. I truly felt like I was in key west. Extremely friendly staff. Nice hot breakfast. I rate this a 6 star hotel. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. Would not hesitate to come back.
This is a nice, basic place. It was clean and had a mini fridge and microwave. The front desk folks were pleasant and helpful. They offer free breakfast, but it is also VERY basic, some eggs, sausage, mini muffins, and cereal with juice and coffee. The price was very affordable. It is not in the cute old-timey section of town, but it is really convenient to it, plus lots of shops and restaurants.
My family booked two nights at this hotel today, and realized the AC in the room we were given did not work at all, as soon as we got there. Issue was reported and the hotel said it was the only room available and refused to give a refund. Receptionist would not let my mom into the lobby area to return the keys, made her slide them under a window.
We immediately left and will be contacting the better business bureau.
Great bargain hotel. The prices can't be beat in Fairhope. The rooms are clean and adequate. They are not fancy but clean and comfortable.
We previously stayed at this hotel. Absolutely loved the service and location at the hotel. They have recently updated the hotel rooms and lobby with new decor, furniture, bedding and etc to stay up to date with other hotels in the area. Highly recommend this hotel for any family that wants to stay in the area of fairhope.
We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good as well as the coffee. Bed were very comfortable. The staff were polite and knowledgeable with area. Pool was well kept. They have laundry service but dryer was broke at time but thats only complaint i had. Definetly worth the money had great 3 day vacation.
We've stayed at Key West Inn many times and it's always a wonderful experience. Clean rooms and very quiet area but close to restaurants and downtown shopping. Highly recommend!
Other then a bit of an ant problem this was a good place to stay for 4 days. All the staff was friendly. The breakfast offering was decent. Beds were comfortable. The wifi didn't connect well and wish that would be addressed. This is our second stay and would stay again.
The front desk was very friendly and quickly got us checked in. The room was clean. The only negative was the beds are full size not queen. So we were a little snug ;)
Clean hotel. Very friendly staff. Close to everything in Fairhope and close to the city of Mobile and the Gulf beaches. Hospital right down the road. Plenty of shopping opportunities and dining destinations.
The room was decent. The beds were very hard so as a side sleeper your arm will go to sleep. Bring your own shower soap. Good location and reasonable price.
My family drove all the way across the FL panhandle just to stay here during Hurricane Matthew. They are truly pet friendly, including cats, unlike many other hotels which say "pet friendly" but only accept dogs. The staff are friendly and the place looks adorable.
The room we stayed in had 2 double beds which were very comfortable and very clean. The room layout is older and the bathroom is small, but everything has been updated. The room had a mini fridge/freezer combo, a small microwave, and a small coffee maker. Everything was very clean and in great condition, including the shower and toilet. The bathroom tile grout could have looked cleaner, but that's a minor issue.
My only true problem with the room was that the air conditioner blew air that smelled a bit like mildew, which worried me about my asthmatic mother. We did see that they had brand new AC units stored downstairs, they are probably working on fixing this issue.
Free hot breakfast was included with our stay. They had juice, great coffee, eggs and sausage, bagels, muffins, biscuits, cereal, milk, and anything you might want to put on those things (cream cheese, jelly, flavored creamers, etc).
I also want to note that the pool was small, but in super clean condition. I'm always skeptical of pools, but I saw them cleaning it in the morning and would have used it if we were there longer.
We were charged only $15 per pet and the room was just $70 for the night. Very well worth it. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
