  The Key Lime Pie is sold in plastic, which makes it not very appetizing. The taste is sour and good.

  I've had better. From the Keys and came back for vacation. Not what I had as a kid or on previous vacations. Very nice people though.

  The key lime pie was nice, so was the espresso. But call me finicky, I did not like the plastic plate and fork and coffee cup. Kind of robs you from the experience. Anyways, the pie was good.

  Didn't know this was Sweet Pete's place until we walked in. Being from the birthplace of the place I automatically loved this place. The key lime pie was amazing. Don't forget to grab some sea salt caramels too.

  One of the best key lime shops in key west. Definitely a place to stop by for a slice. It will now be a mandatory stop on future trips for my family.

  My husband and I did a "Key Lime Everything Driving Tour" thru all of the Keys down to Key West and back over three days, and this pie was number 8 out of 11. The sign outside the shop says "Original Birthplace of Key Lime Pie", and when we told the owner what we doing in terms of our taste testing tour, she said to us, "After you have our pie, you'll wonder why you didn't come here first." Boy oh boy was she right! Seriously, this was the best pie we had. She said they only use the three original ingredients, and that is why it is so good. I won't say this one was my favorite - because I have discovered in my taste testing tour that I prefer meringue topping on my pie to whipped cream topping (and that is what they use), but I do definitely thinks this one wins best technical awards, and it is my favorite amongst the pies in Key West proper that we tasted. It was absolutely the perfect tart to sweet ratio with the best key lime flavor and consistency. If you're in there, try to Tortuga rum cake free sample - that's also absolutely delicious. We bought some to take home to my mother who was babysitting the kids on our adventure, along with a bunch of other key lime flavored products from the store like key lime avocado oil and key lime coffee. This place is our first stop next time we are in Key West!

  Key lime pineapple-coconut flavored pie is the best. Key lime pie very good. Mango flavored one not that good. There are many that claim to be the original. This is the one of the Profit show.
