  Spring is a great time to hike the ice age trail. No folage, and better yet no bugs. The woods in Wisconsin are full of a large amount of biting insects in the summer. Not so in winter and spring.

  I went camping with my family here. The beach was small, not deep enough to swim. We went on one trail which was completely not taken care of and the plants were so overgrown there was basically no path, and one of my cousins fell into the mossy, dirty water. It was awful. But the place we sat and camped at was big, and the sky was pretty.

  We stayed in a group campsite, had about 40 people at any given time. Site was perfect.

  Calming, quiet trails, not to hard to run but some spots on the trail are rocky. Perfect getaway or some alone "me time".
