  Don’t WASTE your time trying to go here, know one is ever helpful and doesn’t seem to actually care to even try to help, they would just send you one place to another and then come to find out that who you were really looking for isn’t even there! WORST, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNORGANIZED school I have ever seen! DON’T GO TO THIS SCHOOL.

  This is a great institution of higher learning. I visited the campus in March of 2016. I visited Kentucky for my cousin's wedding and my cousin-in-law attended and worked here. He gave us a tour of all of the facilities and all the school had to offer. Before visiting, I didn't know this campus existed. I didn't even know it was a HBCU. This was the first HBCU that I visited. But, the students and staff are friendly and I can say with my head high, you wouldn't regret coming here.

  KSU is a great institution, a great place gain well rounded education and build relationships!
  I have great praises about the excellence administration, faculty, and student body! I'm indeed proud to be apart of the KSU community!

  Remaining hopeful for a "transformation." Hoping President Thompson will stay. KSU deserves great leadership with knowledge and concern. KSU needs stability.

  My son goes to Kentucky State University and I can say it is very unprofessionalThe school is old and dirty the food is disgusting The staff is horrible sometimes I have to call the University about certain things leave voicemails never get a return call back ever I would not recommend anybody to go to the school

  The WORST university ever. Except the faculty members nobody will help you out,specially the International student services. They have a DSO, who doesn't know the rules and regulation for the International students.
  
  I am graduating in may 2016 and the DSO at this WORST school is saying that I could not apply for OPT until I graduate. Actually I have to apply for OPT 90 days before I graduate.
  
  All I have to say is if you have other options then choose that, then to wasting your time getting all headaches by Enrolling in KYSU.
  
  I will rate "0" stars for this university, but because I can not post this review until I give atleast 1 star.
