You feel very small looking out over one of the worlds largeist mines. Its like visiting a man made grand canyon hard to forget experance. Went there when I was young in the 90s. It gets bigger and deeper every year. The dump trucks are as big as 2 floor houses. People in my family used to work in this mine.

Not Disneyland or a video game so leave the little kids home. Great information about how we get copper and it's uses. Gift shop selection and prices worth the trip!

It is an unbelievable sight to see how big this mine is!! It's about 45 minutes outside of salt lake city. We took a bus tour with City Sights in Salt lake City and had a fabulous time! Our driver knew so much about everything they do there and made it very entertaining!
