We hired Shepherd's Carpet to install carpet in our recently finished basement. They had the best price around, for what we felt is a better quality carpet than other dealers were selling. Overall, we have been happy with the carpet itself.

We did have some complaints about the work the installer did, which I assume is an independent contractor. We first contacted Shepherd's office to inform them of the issues and get the installer back to fix them. Unfortunately, we never heard back from the office about getting our punch list items fixed, at which point I left a less-then-perfect review here on Google.

Shepherd's has since contacted us and taken steps to resolve our concerns and make sure we are happy customers. I appreciate a company that is willing to willing to make things right, even if they didn't go perfectly at first. Mistakes happen with everybody, what matters to me is how the mistake is handled in the end. In my case, Shepherd's has gone the extra mile to make sure I am happy with my purchase, and as such, I am happy to update my review to a 5-star for their willingness to stand behind their work.

Buyer beware!
If they install the wrong color flooring and you bring it to their attention even before the job is completed, they ask you to see if you decide to like it in a couple days. If not they will replace it. WRONG! They try to place the blame on you and refuse to replace it like they offered. They throw a small compensation at you, not close enough to repurchase and pay someone else to install the correct flooring. Leaving you with flooring through your whole house in the wrong color or the choice to bite it and start over going with someone who will stand behind their business. NEVER AGAIN will I go to Shepherds Flooring in Spanish Fork!

Awful customer service. When they order and install the wrong flooring, they will blame you. I would highly suggest finding somewhere else.

Friendly staff, competitive pricing and extensive selection! It's so great working with professionals. We love our new Luxury Vinyl Plank and Carpet. Our Expectations were set and achieved.
The process is really easy and there are so many choices that you can find what you really will enjoy. In home experienced Measurements from a pro are free of charge. Excellent place to contract the whole flooring project to enjoy the great pricing, professional installers and excellent service.

We had bought some flooring and there was a mistake with the order. Shepherds acknowledged it and let us know how much they valued our business by giving us a great deal on some mattresses. We appreciated their prompt attention and going the extra mile to 'make it right'. I scraped up the pad in our condo the best I could. There was hardly any left on the floor when they came to install, but they used one of their tools to scrape it up. 2 weeks later they called me and said the installer "spoke with me and let me know there would be a charge for scraping it up". He never spoke with me. They charged me $30 for it. They were dishonest and it was disappointing.

I don't usually write reviews but they have the best customer service! I have come in several times for carpet or even furniture purchases. I felt they gave us an honest fair price on all purchases. Highly recommend Shepard's for quality and fair prices.
