The Marion Overhead Door Company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I first contacted them to order garage door springs no one was there, so I left a message. I waited two business days and never received a returned call. I called again and the owner answered. He took down my spring measurement information and said he would order the springs for me. Three days go by without a phone call from him. I call again and he tells me he didn’t order the springs since he has some in stock that are a little different but might work. He never called me to ask if this was okay, but I figure I might as well give them a try. So, I stop by to pick them up. When I walk in he doesn’t greet me or ask what I need, he just ignores me and continues to type away on his computer. I initiate the conversation and tell him why I'm there. He says a grand total of about three words to me, swipes my credit card, and hands me my springs and receipt. No “thank you” is ever mentioned. Once I get home I start to put the springs up. I soon realize the springs he gave me won’t work. So, I decided to call another door company to order the right springs since I didn’t feel like waiting another week for Overhead to get them in. The other company orders them for me and in less than 24 hours they get them in and they call me to let me know. When I go to return the springs to Overhead Door Co., he gets mad and tells me that he should charge me a restocking fee for returning them, even though he was the one who gave me the wrong springs in the first place. I flop the springs down on his desk and walk out the door after this. Stay far away from this business.
