Alan Keatley in the Service Dept. was fantastic to work with. He was reassuring, not pushy about making other repairs and kept me in the loop about what was going on. Exceptionally friendly staff all around. I will not hesistate to take my Kia back for future needs.
Eric L is a fabulous salesman. He listened to what I was looking for in a car and was able to get me into a Soul Plus. I love my Soul. Eric, the sales manager, was able to work with us and made the dream a reality. I love Keffer Kia in Mooresville. They are professional and work well with their customers. This is why we keep coming back. Thanks Keffer Kia!!
Eric the Sales Manager and Eric the salesperson were awesome to work with. We got a 2018 Soul two days before Christmas. Great experience and loce the car. That's our 3rd Kia from Keffer. Go by and see Eric.
If your in the market for a new car, this is the place. This is my second purchase from this dealership and they were both great experiences. They work very hard to get you exactly what you are wanting and the deal you expect. Lee, my salesman is fantastic. No pressure, no steering to what he thought was best. He waited for me to ask questions and kept his distance, which is exactly the way I like it. The finance team was fair and honest. Great group of ladies and gentlemen here. You won’t be disappointed. Oh, and the service guys rock! Change oil, do the service stuff and the car is cleaner when I get it back than it was when they took it. And they are quick!
Was not looking forward to having to visit a dealer for a new car. After meeting Eddie Johnson at Keffer it turned from a dread to an enjoyable experience. Eddie is super to work with. If you get a chance to meet him take that opportunity. My wife and I purchased a 2018 Sorento from him and are extremely happy with the car and the sales experience.
I purchased my Kia here 4 years ago, which was a great experience as I had a friend that was friends with the GSM (he is no longer there). I currently have 50,000 miles on it and have never had a single problem with it until I took it in for a service recall on the engine. I dropped it off on a Sunday night and picked it up on Monday at 3:30 after they called and said it was ready and no recall work was necessary. I got in it and it would not start (battery was completely dead). I have never had any battery problems until this day, this car has never been jump started.
I read a previous review were the same thing happened! I went to pick up my son 2 hours later and it was dead again. I called the dealership and sat on hold for over 15 minutes and the receptionist said she could not get service to pick up, so she put me in Justin, the service manager's voice mail, where I left a detailed message. No call back. My fiancé put a trickle charger on the battery over night and said it should be fine as there were no previous signs of battery issues. The next morning it was still dead. I called and left 2 more messages, so 3 total messages until I called back a 4th time at 2 p.m. the next day and finally got the service manager on the phone (Justin). He said it was "possible" that the car wash guys left the hazard lights on and killed the battery and he would not charge me labor and discount the battery, he wanted to speak to the technician and call me back. He never called back, so I put a new battery in it and was going to let it go. So, the car sat with a dead battery from Monday evening to Wednesday morning. After I left for work, my fiancé sent me a picture of the oil on my garage floor (see photo). This car has never left a drop of oil on my garage or had a battery issue. I wiped up the oil and hoped it was just residual oil from the oil change, but it is still leaking. I called again, Justin was not available, nor was the general manager (amazingly). Allen in service told me "we " needed to get the car back in there to check it and I told him they needed to come and pick it up and resolve this. He said he would give Justin the message in the morning.
I will certainly follow up on this review as it is very rare for me to write a bad review on anything. This has been a nightmare. I am reluctant to
even let them try to fix this. I have never dealt with such poor service and more uncaring/unconcerned people, ever. If you are in the Mooresville, NC area, I would recommend Bowles automotive. It is family owned and operated and they service our personal vehicles as well as my company vehicles and they would never treat anyone this poorly.
We bought our 2014 Kia Cadenza and where promised new tires from the sales manager. When we called to make an appointment to get the new tires put on no response. We have called, sent emails and shown up in person, and all we get every time is "we will look into it." Been at this for a year called 47 times emailed 20 times, still the same run around. All they care about is getting the car off the lot, nothing afterwards. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone.
Their service department is one of the best I have ever encountered. Extremely approachable and friendly people that are truly invested in your best interest and well being.
I just have to say that Keffer Kia Mooresville is Awesome. I had an issue with my car and they really impressed me. The service I received was outstanding, fast, and great. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants great service to visit them.
Waiting 2 hours for my oil change is ridiculous!!! I had an appointment so y'all knew I was gonna show up and I could have done it myself at home in 30 min or less!!! I only have one more free oil change with them then I am never coming back. I might not even use that one!!
They go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience while having your vehicle serviced.
DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! THEY BAIT AND SWITCH AND SELL RUST BUCKETS!
First they drew me in with a low interest rate to close a deal. They then called back saying that they had to change the terms to a higher rate, or I'd have to return the car. They were taking advantage of the "conditional delivery clause" that allows them to do that. After more than a week of back and forth, they finally agreed to honor the terms only after I was over an hour into the trip to return the car! Also, in the mean time they had run my credit more than fifteen times which drove it down a hundred points. I would not have been able to get decent terms anywhere else, even if I wanted!
Next, the low mileage used car I bought was advertised as being "certified" and "inspected." I was assured that there were no mechanical problems. A week after the deal was finally closed, the car wouldn't start. Two new batteries later, it still wouldn't start more than once in the cold. I had to jump it off every time the temp was below 30.
Finally, the car breaks down on my way into work. I get it towed to the nearest Nissan dealer for diagnostic, as directed by the shady aftermarket warranty company Keffer pushes. The service manager there said the exhaust rusted OFF! Not rusted, rusted OFF! Furthermore, he said the undercarriage and mechanical components were so badly corroded that the car would have continuous problems. He also said that if any mechanic so much as took a cursory glance they would reach the same conclusion. I call Keffer and they try to strong arm me into a higher priced car, telling me no one would ever give me as much for the trade as they will.
After my experience, I don't think Keffer dealerships are any better than the worst fly by night used car dealers. It seems clear that they use the bait and switch tactic with terms, and know they are selling junk used cars.
Let me start by saying that my wife and I have bought 3 vehicles from this location. We have always had great service. So today I went to see what my options would be for a lower payment. I had made an appointment and was greeted promptly by the sales person who was so nice. He informed me that he had already pulled my current vehicle payoff and was ready to get started. The manager then interrupts us and says another guy is going to help us. When I tell him what I am lookin for he then tells me to go into finance and refinance. I tell him that wasn't really what I was looking for. After an hour he finally says we have this option which was a nice car. We go out to test drive and he says this will be an awesome leasing option which I had stated I wasn't interested in. He seemed very irritated to have to help me. He made comments like he wished he sold Mercedes because he wouldn't have these issues. At one point my mother said I bet you are sorry you met us huh in a jokin tone he then replied uh huh. When he went to check on the terms he simply came back and said call your bank and get the financing. Handed me my keys and said nice meeting you. I will NEVER buy from here again. None of the great sales people are there anymore and the service shows. I will also ensure to get rid of my current kia and go to a different brand altogether to keep from going there even for servicing. You have lost a loyal customer!
Service was quick. No pressure about repairs. Friendly service reps
