We bought a camper from them 5 months ago already had to return for work four or five times. I would recommend u buy some where closure to home. They give u nothing for your time or gas and still have to take it back when parts come in again. I wouldn't recommend buying a Avenger or anything made from prime time the parts take so long to come in and they are a high dollar peice of just worst purchase yet. Never again.
My husband and I had been discussing for 6 months prior to visiting different RV locations to trade and purchase a newer RV. After getting poor sales attention at other RV locations, my husband suggested CAMPERS INN in mocksville, nc. From the moment we stopped in we were introduced to Mr. Jeffrey Shollnick. What an outstanding RV sales person. Jeff spent all the time needed to talk with us, and show us (in our price range) what canpersinn had avaliable. We did end up purchsing a 2018 Embrace 33 foot, which we are so pleased with. The main reason we came back to campersinn was because Jeff shollnick was the perfect person too work with us. He has a great feel for anyone looking to buy new or used RV. Thanks for the attentiveness Jeff. You are the best. The Huffman Family, Elkin NC.
Sales staff very rude.. and not interested in letting people view their inventory without making people feel rushed walked away and locked a unit we was still looking and interested in.. never will we visit this establishment.. very disappointed full time rvers here shame on you guy's campers inn!
We pulled in to this place after experiencing severe wagging with our RV trailer.
We met Joshua on the service sidwho stopped what he was doing to come and check all the tires and help us get level. Thank you so much for your service and above and beyond. Refused my tip too.
Sales are OK, then customer service is poor. Four months after purchasing an RV from them, my wife and I were shut out of our RV because the lock mechanism broke while camping in the mountains. Roadside service (not affiliated) called out a locksmith late at night. He had to break the lock to get us back in.
When my wife called upon our return, Campers Inn said we needed a detailed invoice from the locksmith, which I didn't have because I didn't have to pay, and before and after pictures. Then they said after they received them, they would have to make a claim with Keystone to see IF they would do anything.
All I wanted was a lock and I would have replaced it myself! I contacted the lock manufacturer and had one shipped to me. The total was $18, including tax and shipping. For less than $20, Campers Inn has lost a customer for life.
Update: I could have gone without the response from you, Campers Inn. It's funny how you say you are a part of Customer Care, yet want me to send the issue to Customer Care. You read my complaint and you have my name, yet you can't follow up to make the issue right. You just posted the same response you did to others.
Today was the 4th time I've been in this establishment looking to buy a camper. I'm still yet to have been acknowledged by any member of sales or service. I had cash on me for my purchase but I guess they don't want to sell anything. WILL NOT GIVE THEM ANY MORE CHANCES!!! GOODBYE !!!!
I have to say although I did not buy a new unit or even a expensive used one, every single person at Campers Inn RV treated my wife and I as if we had purchased the most expensive unit they sell.
We spent weeks looking at Campers at many different dealers in 4 different states and only one dealer even came close to the level of comfort I felt at Campers Inn RV of Mocksville.
This is our first RV and we could not have asked for a better or more honest salesman than Jerry Minton. When it was time to make the deal, I felt the Brochure Hervey was very upfront and worked a very fair deal with me.
Eric in the shop really took his time going over every detail of the camper with us answering all of our questions in great detail. Kim Duman in the store made sure we knew not only what we had to have for our camper but why we needed it.
Thank you to all the staff at the Campers Inn RV of Mocksville for making our first camper purchase such a pleasure.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to get service over there. There is no GM, and the service center is horrible. They don't care about your satisfaction or that the work is done to high standards. They will not let you view the service or discuss what is being done with you. Don't buy from them either! They say one thing and then do another. The Raleigh location is amazing though! I live really close to the Mocksville location and drive to Raleigh instead.
Great selection, but you can't see any of them without a salesman unlocking each one and hovering the whole time. If the salesman thinks you aren't going to make a purchase THAT day, they rush you through the process. I know this is their attitude because my wife went in afterwards and heard the salesman talking to the front desk lady about us.
Because of this, WHEN I buy, I will buy from the place that went at my pace and treated me right the whole time, not just on the day I buy. In my mind, if they don't treat you right when you are shopping, they sure aren't going to treat you right after you have bought.
I recommend to others is to go to Bill Plemmons or Tom Johnson's if you want to have time to look at each unit and consider your options.
My recommendation to Campers Inn management is to unlock your units and allow your customers to look freely. That will let your salesmen focused on customers who want to purchase that day, while still building your customer base by letting others who are in the market, but not yet ready to buy. That is the way all other RV lots have beenNot sure why Campers Inn is different.
This is a sterling company to do business with. They are a honest, family oriented company that will go out of their way to satisfy their customers. From the sales department, to the service department and the mechanics in the garage. They are very committed to providing superior service after the sale. On several occasions when my husband and I are traveling out of state and encountered a problem with our RV, I would call the service department and speak to Stephanie or Nicole for help, and when necessary, they would have a mechanic talk me through my issue.
The facility is immaculate and they have two very comfortable waiting areas for their customers. The employees are warm and friendly and you are always greeted with a smile, hand shake and sometimes even a hug! And the hot dogs are good too!.

O Boy, NEVER AGAIN! Folks, if you are thinking of purchasing, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! Our purchase experience was HORRIBLE! More than once, I was reminded it was "just a used coach". I was called a liar by the service manager, Kenny. Items were removed from the coach, items were broken during prep and service. Yes, after a 6 week process with head office, enough toes were stepped on and they finally got our coach ready. Yes, I said 6 weeks. For DEALER PREP AND SERVICE, you know, oil change, clean/detail, change blown bulbs n fuses, simple stuff, right? All the while being reminded, "it's just a used coach". We spent over $52,000 with them, and were treated like "just a used coach". I'll never forgive that statement, nor being called a liar. Just DON'T BUY THERE. JUST DON'T. Thankfully, Mr. Jim Weiss got us took care of, but there was absolutely NO COMPENSATION for the time we lost. NONE. NOT A PENNY. Not even a $25 gift card for our troubles. Very disheartening by the treatment. From now on, our coach, "Karma" goes to Camping World in Statesville! I waited to post my review in the hope they might would "compensate" but, nope, they didn't. So, Yes, I'm giving a BAD REVIEW. Just save your self respect and go elsewhere ;-)
