My girlfriend and I went to see a free concert on a Friday night at the tin lizard Bar and Grill. The band was good and Sam Adams was on sale for $2.50 a bottle. we split an appetizer and had a very enjoyable evening. We didn't do any gambling but there were plenty of machines to choose from.

Beautiful space, lovely layout, good restaurant options and the Event Center is very nice. I'll give five stars when you go completely smoke-free. Despite sitting deep inside Lizard Grill, smoke still makes its way into the dining room.

Clean and Nice Casino. Rooms and Conference Hall was above excellent. Food was good. We ate at their Steakhouse and it was the best Pork Chop I have ever had. I highly recommend all of this facility!

As you notice from almost all the reviews nobody wins here! Slots gobble down your money fast! Oklahoma slots are much looser and more fun. They claim to have "red screen slots" here but its just a gimmick to get you to come here. I go there and lose my money almost every time. If you want to play slots..go to oklahoma. Avoid going there to gamblejust go for the food, drink, and entertainment which is all pretty good.

Great clean classy place to have fun at. Staff is Top Notch. Get a players card for free and sign up for emails. This will get promos as well as free items or free spin on slots.
The card room has excellent dealers and the pit bosses are polite and do a great job of keeping things in order.

This place is FUN! That is if you can afford to literally blow HUNDREDS in 2 hours time (or less). Your bankroll had better be fairly big because $100 can be gone in less than 30 mins and that is no where near max betting either. EVERYONE I talk to complains about the same thingNOT WINNING! So yes, it is fun to go but myself and others agree that we won more often at the gambling shops that are now all closed in Wichita. So in summaryits fun, you might get lucky 1-10 times but you are better off to keep your money.

I usually don't stop at Casinos just to eat but after 24 hours of driving this was the only place that was right off the next exit. We ate lunch at the Tin Lizard Bar and Grill inside the casino and it was magical. This casino was very well maintained outside and the inside was no different. It smelled like fresh air and not of cigarette smoke like a lot of casinos do. The staff was always helpful and always had a smile on their faces. The bar was no different than the gaming floor. Very clean, wonderful wait staff, and not too noisy. My food was brought to me after a reasonable amount of time and was exactly what I ordered and my drink was never empty. If I wasn't just passing through and starving I would bet that this would be a place I would like to go to for fun, events, or dining.

My husband and I go down often maybe a little too often, however, this casino is extremely tight. My husband and I are not the high rollers that most seem to be In this place. We each take $100 in and when it's gone its gone. It seems to only last about 30 mins for us play I g at min bet. In the last 4 years of going to this casino we have only won one time anything decent and when I say decent I mean $400 or more. All of our friends and family members refuse to go due to them being so tight. We live in Wichita and will make the longer drive to 7 Clans before we step foot back in Kansas Star. I will say that I love that it is so close but because they are so tight I will go elsewhere. It's sad. I wish that the proposal for one to go in in park city would go through to give this place some competition. Maybe than they will loosen up a little.

I live in Oklahoma so casino's are everywhere..The Kansas Star is a nice place to take your wife for the weekend.. Close enough to Wichita to go to the mall or a movie and the Hampton Inn at the casino is really nice..We stayed in a suite and was very happy.. we'll be back.

Ever since the casino moved to where it is now, the slots are so tight. I use to go a lot. I stopped going. I go from time to time with my parents but it's a waste of money. I lose all my money as soon as I put the money in the machine. Terrible. Buffet food is good though. The panini's are as good either.

I've gone to this Casino 6 times in the past few months and never once did I even have a chance to win. The slots are WAY too tight and most of the tables use the shuffle machines so the decks are set in the houses favor. Take the extra 20 minute drive to Oklahoma if you actually want your money to last long enough to have fun.

I'm not a casino fan, but was here for a conference. Didn't like how smoky it was - the smell just clings to your clothes. Food was good at the Tin Lizard, but was mediocre at the quick takeout stop near the hotel entrance. Was going to try the pho, but they changed their hours. It's very spacious and their event center was nice. Was very impressed with the catering for the conference dinner. Staff was friendly, too.

Staff was helpful, plenty of tables and games. Parking was easy. They also host fun events here so make sure to check the calender. If you are new to a game and nervous to get your feet wet, come on a slower day and the staff will assist you.
