Best kept secret in the North. Don't ever go there. :-)
Always a favorite place to stay. RV sites are large and we'll kept and there is quite a lot of common areas that make it easy to spread out and enjoy. Pool is actually heated, bath houses are clean and staff is great.
Great owners and staff. Spacious sites. Clean facilities. And, of course, Sonny the big yellow dinosaur!
This place is slowly getting better. Friendly staff, a mom and pop type owned place. They finally added more electric sites, however the bathrooms are in dire need of updating. The stalls never shut right, I can't tell you how many times I got walked in on over the weekend.
Sites are grass and nice size; don't feel like campers are on top of each other. Large park for kids. Great pool, but did not use. Bathrooms were clean. Stayed in a 36ft motorhome. Would stay again.
Grassy sites 100 ft long, mostly level and shaded. well kept ground with healthy plants, heated outdoor pool, diversified playground. Small campsite with essentials like ice cream and brochures. No road noise but close to everything we wanted to see. Only drawback is limited laundry facilities, two small washer/dryers in 2 separate buildings. Camped in motorhome with Gold Wing trike on trailer. Would happily return.
I am in the midst of nearly a 2 week stay. From the moment I stopped at the office to check in, I felt completely at home. My husband was unable to help set up and I was a little worried. Lisa escorted me to the water to fill up and patiently waited with me, then her and her husband escorted me to my site which I found to be very generous in size and fairly private. "Bubba" was ready to help me back in, but found it was a pull thru, though he did rearrange for me to maximize space. They checked back several times to see if I needed anything or needed help. Ken and Becky who own the business are as sweet as can be and all employees are constantly driving around checking the toilets, showers, garbage and pool. This is VERY CLEAN. A FAMILY FRIENDLY PLACE and not a place for partiers. We had some this past weekend and staff quieted them down promptly. No Nonsense. So if you want to party, this is not the place. I have found the people here to be very friendly and a small community of sorts. Probably will be seasonal next year!!! Love it here. They had Christmas in July and had lots of fun activities (crafts, cookie decorating, snow cones, popcorn, etc.) And Mr. And Mrs. Claus showed up on Heather's golf cart. On Saturday's, an ice cream truck plays a song as it goes through peddling it's wares. Next Saturday is Mexican Fiesta Potluck. They really try to pull the people together. Just a lot of fun! BEST Campround ever! Thanks so much all of you!
This is our FAVORITE campground! HUGE, grassy sites, super clean facilities, great pool and playground for the kids, helpful, friendly staff, and a great family atmosphere!
My in-laws have come here for the past 15 years. It is the best place to camp
We have spent a week here the past several years and it's an amazing and relaxing time with friends and family! Our group gets bigger every year and more fun all the time.
We recently spent a 4 day/3 night stay at Kampvilla RV Park and it was absolutely delightful! The check-in procedure was efficient, the one employee in the office was busy with someone who had walked in just before me but suddenly another employee appeared in the office to assist us! In no time at all, I was at the campsite! Our kids had a tremendous amount of fun in the pool and exploring the park on their bikes! I'll admit that I am a helicopter parent and at this park, we all felt safe enough for the kids to ride bikes around the park without the supervision of a parent! The bathroom area was always clean and tidy. The showers were immaculate! Stay here if you can - it's a wonderful experience!!
