They don't care about anyone there just there parts, A friend of mine got a gash in his leg when the sensor didn't catch the part I'm the conveyor belt and it fell on his leg and he had to get 32 stiches and 16 staples. They fired him the same day.

This place is honestly a horrible place to work, temp or full time. If you're second shift anyway. First shift can do little to nothing all day and still get sent home early, and their group leaders will literally be quoted as saying, "Second shift can do it." So when second shift comes in and busts their asses on a second shift makeup week, they will work ten hour days and come in on Saturdays to get it done. On a first shift makeup week, they will go home early and second shift will be forced to come in, despite it being a first shift makeup. You are sometimes made to go cover other lines for their breaks, but the associates on that line will come back ten minutes late for each break (front side frame 5), and the group leader for that group (Brian Perry) will talk down to you in the most disrespectful ways he can fathom and then do nothing about his associates being late, and makes you stay there until they come back, therefore cutting your breaks short or cutting your production short, because apparently you don't have your own work to do. The management is just awful. There was a lady on my line (front side frame 6) who worked at KTH for ten years who is now on her ninth machine since 2017 STARTED, and she doesn't know how to do tip changes, count resets, or sensor checks. She is full time. Meanwhile, there's another female on my line who has also worked there ten years and has severe back problems from working at KTH, and she can't get hired on to get health insurance to fix her back because she's missed too many days. I would highly suggest not working here more than six months, because I am about to hit my sixth month mark in about two weeks and I'm so stressed out my hair will not grow, and I cry at the thought of going in every single day. Just save yourself the trouble and don't do it. There's a reason this company is failing.

KTH is a nasty place to work, the people smell aweful because they get covered head to toe in thick grease and the company does not have the uniforms washed from a cleaning services, home washers will not take out very heavy grease. Adecco will say it is temp to hire, but it is not true-temps stay temps for 3-4 years, no insurance, no days of, low pay, and temps get put on the nasty, greasy, backbreaking jobs. The temps do as little as they can, because they are not going to get hired anyway, they don't get paid enough to do the that kind of work. So if you decide to work there as a temp don't kill your self by working at 110%-you will not be hired anyway, just run a marker around the parts, put your name on it, take your time, take breaks, go get a drink or they will work you til you drop. 11 dollars an hour, the full time make 17.00.

Its not an all bad place I loved it there but I was a temp and the temps do not get a lot of respect and also the company is not making any since at all these days. The reason they do not make since is that they keep posting and posting week after week they need 2nd shift people to start right away. That being said I have applied 3 times and called several times because I want 2nd right away and still not a yes no or nothing. Its like they do not want people that want to work there to work there hahaha. But anyway poor-fair review due to the mis-leading on how bad they need people and then hire no one.

Working at KTH as a salaried employee was terrible. The culture is suppressive and male dominated. Women are rarely promoted, slurs to black people and gays (and the lone transgendered associate) were frequently heard.

Additionally, many people working there moan and groan when coming to work everyday.There's nothing like being someplace all day long where no one is happy to be there.

Furthermore, everyone has to wear a nasty white uniform (They fit terribly and you can see everyone's underwear and believe me you don't want to see the underwear of most people you work with there).

In conclusion - if you're a white or Japanese male who enjoys an engineering role and you could care less about what you look like everyday or the social equality the company puts forth then it's the place for you. I'm happy I moved on to new opportunities.

Plus's to KTH are decent salaries, tuition assistance, and generous medical benefit packages two weeks of paid shutdowns plus individual vacation hours.

Oh and one last thing - it's located in St. Paris, OH. There's nothing there I'm talking about one Subway, Dollar General, and a store that sells herbs.
