Since late 2018, JWB Family Law has been representing me in a very difficult, high-conflict custody case. They earned my appreciation and respect with their rigorous, no-nonsense, yet empathetic approach in addition to being very conscientious with the client's time and money. As a veteran, I also appreciate the military and veteran discount that they offer. Highly recommended.

After twenty two years and several so called experts, and an appeal to the DA's office I had all but given up trying to collect back child support as a single dad. Recently an opportunity presented its self so I did a google search, (expert in family law) and found JWB Family Law. My faith in humanity was restored by Jane and her team. Experts in family law hardly begins to describe their extensive knowledge of the law and how to best apply it to your specific situation. Not only did I receive every penny of back child support but twenty-two years of interest calculated to the date of the actual payment.

After over 5 months of waiting and hoping to go to a mediation and settle our separation (with my now ex-wife), the situation at home was unfortunately constantly escalating and I was forced to look for a legal help.
As I was doing online searches for a best family law practice in San Diego, I was lucky that I landed on JWB Family Law website. After our first meeting, I knew that Jane was the right person for me to hire! Jane has been an encouragement, a hope, and a true professional whose concern and priority from the day one when I met her was to protect our 2 young children, get me out of the former residence in a safe manner, and provide professional and practical advice during the hardest and most challenging times.
During the divorce there were ups and downs, but Jane was always there to listen and provide the right guidance. If you are finding yourself in a need of a Family Law expert it is not a pleasant moment, emotions can overtake the rational thought, but do yourself a favor and meet with Jane! Before Jane took my case I was not able to see my son very much. It got so bad I had to call the sheriff to try and enforce the agreement my ex and I had. The sheriff told me that I needed to have a court order and thats when I went and found Jane Wesley Brooks. I had a free initial consultation and we put together a game plan. The whole thing took almost a year but I got EVERYTHING, and I will repeat EVERYTHING I was looking for. My ex could not control the situation anymore she switched council due to her frustration not being able to steam roll my lawyer. When it came time to negotiate her side was not coming to a mutual agreement so we took it all the way to an evidentiary court trial. Jane came in with a folder that was about three inches thick the other attorney came in with nothing. They still did not want to negotiate and just before we proceeded to proceed with court, opposing council asked to talk with judge. The attorneys met with the judge in her chambers and I got EVERYTHING I wanted. If you decide to get a lawyer be prepared to go ALL IN and if you have mentally made that decision do yourself a favor and get the best lawyer you can. Jane Wesley Brooks is amazing you do not want to go against her. I love Jane Brook one Happy Day she changed my life.
