Top Notch! That says it all! We were not expecting such a high end experience in a vacation location but, wow we were blown away. Everything from the homemade bread and home grown veggies to the steaks everything was top notch. I highly recommend.

Had outstanding service and perfectly made food! They have an extensive wine list as well! Nice dinner restaurant! Treat yourselves and guests here. It would be my first choice in the area!

Came with a group tour, so maybe not a typical day, but food was definitely sub par, beef was rare for some in our party, well done for others, and no one was asked how they wanted it prepared. Baked potatoes were over cooked and tough. Carrot cake for dessert was so hard and dry no one at our table even ate it. Service was mediocre. Would probably not visit again if given the choice. Update: visited 2 nights later without the whole group after reading good reviews and gave them another chance. Like a different restaurant this time. Excellent food and service. Guess maybe not the best place for big groups.

Very excited to dine at this lovely restaurant.
Very disappointed and annoyed was a result of this choice. Waitress was friendly at the start, made sure we knew she over poured our wine, took our order and acknowledged time was of the essence as we were picking up tickets at the theater at a specific time.
Assured us no problem! Placed our order, received our wine, waited 45 min for any further attention from anyone! 45 minutes is unacceptable ANYWHERE! Finally Informed dinner was arriving soon but our salad had not even come out. No offer of more wine during the 45 min wait.
My dinner was lovely. Sisters dinner inedible! Salty beyond belief!
Waitress had a bit of an attitude when reminded of our time schedule and we were informed "mostly everyone there was ALSO attending the show" We are very nice,very friendly and quit patient women but we left very annoyed and will not return on our next trip to Maine.response / report this review -

Excellent dining experience at Jonathan's! The service was wonderful. Our servers, Steven and Paul were so helpful and the pace was leisurely yet attentive. My husband ordered the single lobster dinner. He thouroughly enjoyed it! I ordered the Jeager Schnitzel. It was crispy, tender and delicious. The atmosphere was lovely. I highly recommend Jonathan's!

Thank you for another great meal. We go to Ogunquit twice a year and always make it a point to dine at Jonathon's. Food was great and our waiter Norman was awesome. We didn't even realize the the restaurant closed while we were talking with another coupleover 30 minutes and noone said a word or rushed us. Great food, awesome staff. We'll be back for sure!

Just went to see Tom Papa, very funny. Package included dinner and dessert / drinks. Since we do not drink opted for dessert. Big mistake not same quality as meal. Told employee how disappointing. Was offer a dessert from downstairs never arrived. Next time we will give coupon to people that drink and have dessert downstairs

The service was very good. Never had to wait for anything but we were definitely not rushed. Our food was also very good. Only minor complaint would be steak slightly over cooked. Tha baked artichokes app and broiled scallop entrees were great

Terrible service. Waited 30 minutes at our table before we even saw a server. We ordered a bottle of wine. It took another 15 minutes before he brought the wine to our table. The waiter set the unopened bottle and two glasses down and walked away and proceeded to wait on other tables. I have never had that happen at any restaurant. We waited a few minutes thinking he would return to open the bottle but he never did. He never even asked to take our dinner order. We left!! I Talked to the manager before we left but he did not seem to care.
