This place has a great variety of sandwiches, not just roast beef, all the sandwiches have local monikers, they have turkey, chicken, salads etc.. The service is good, and the price is reasonable, definitely worth a stop.

Solid place to stop for some delicious homemade chilli and grilled cheese! Nothing fancy, just stick to your ribs goodness. Will be back to try roast beef!

Our go-to place for the best sandwiches around. We each have our favorite. Mine is the Cruiser, corned beef and cole slaw. Even their gluten free is delicious.

Always great friendly service! BLT is always amazing and potato salad is really good as well.

The real reason I am writing this review is because I had a phone in order to be picked up in an hour. I was 5 minutes early getting there and the order had been lost and not ready. The owner was very apologetic and even said that is not how he likes to do business. I understood where he was coming from and it did not bother me at all because everyone makes mistakes.
He apologized once more and even offered a brownie "on the house"
Even with my ticket being lost, I was out the door in just over 5 minutes.
Kudos to the staff at Jons

If you like roast beef then you can't just drive by his place. Try one with the creamy horseradish, it's amazing.

Best sandwiches in the lakes region, hands down. Their roast beef is the most tender, delicious, juicy today beef you have ever had, guaranteed. The service is also top notch, and they are always more than friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that the decor comes across as a little tacky, but the food is well worth it!

Fantastic roast beef sandwiches. We also loved the Governor's Island sandwich--chicken salad with cranberry dressing. Friendly service. We will definitely be back!!
