The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious. The portions were large on all the dishes we ordered and the dessert we ordered was delicious and unique. The ambience was warm and rustic and merry. They had an excellent wine and beer selection as well.

Literally THE best pizza ive ever had in my life. I've been to every major pizza city. Cripst, light and everything else you'd want from a pizza. Beer was incredible and very well priced. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was awesome too. You won't regret visiting!

Beautiful drive up the peninsula to the restaurant. Food was tasty and the service was good. Restaurant is inside a big old house close to the water. Pretty family friendly - may be a little loud for a baby. Go check it out.

Great atmosphere, good food, very good beer. The restaurant itself is warm, relaxed and the vibe is lively. Wait staff is well informed and very accommodating.

We visited on a cold, rainy day and were seated by the fireplace that was warm and comforting. The service was good, the beer was good, the atmosphere is great and the pizza and bread sticks we're excellent, some of the best we have had ever. We will definitely be back again.

Great place for drinks and dinner. Always great food going back to when it was The Bowery.

Ron our favorite bar tender also serves our favorite beer. The JP sour beers are just better than the other sours. The foods are always fresh and well prepared. The staff has always catered to our every request. Of all the excellent pub restaurants in the traverse city area JP is our favorite.

I had the pulled pork sandwich. Which was amazing! The chips/dipping sauce they bring to the table is an absolute must have! Service was great as well.
I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 bc the pork on the pulled pork nachos isn't great. It's more of a crock pot pulled pork with veggies mixed in it. It would be way better if they used the same pork from the sandwiches.
Either way, would love to come back!!

Terrible experience! Bad food & bad attitude! Ordered ribs & perch dinners. 10 more minutes & the ribs would have been jerky! Dried out, over cooked, burnt & inedible. We stopped an assistant manager to let him know our feelings. Instead of saying I'm sorry can I get you another slab or something else he saysnobody else has complained. As if it must be us and not the ribs. The breading on a piece of our fish was soggy, mushy & unappetizing. We told him that as well. He took the ribs & the one piece of fish and never returned. The waiter, who handled the issues the best, comes by, apologizes & asks what else we would like instead of the ribs. We order another entree and 10 minutes later we're asking our waiter if we are ever going to get our piece of fish back. The next thing we know is the head manager comes by with it and says, with a pissy attitudehere's your fish well done & crispy and walks away. What's ironic is we asked for our fries to be crispy which they weren't. It's definitely a tourist trap. By the time you drive there, wait an hour to sit down to a bad meal, you're a few beers in and don't want to leave to find a better place. If this place weren't in the location it is with the decor it has it would fail. Piss poor attitude by management bc they know they have you 'trapped'! Have a beer, see the place & get out!!! Or only order mashed potatoes bc they were good.

The Smoked Chicken and Penne Pasta was absolutely delicious. The White pizza was amazing also. A little hard to find, but well worth it. It will be a regular stop when I visit Traverse City.

Awesome atmosphere. Awesome food, first time in forever my husband has NOT used A1 on his steak. Cool story behind this place. 5 star service. Our server Kevin was very knowledgeable he knew exactly what direction to steer me for my celiacs..even knew how to handle the allergy!! Very impressed!!!
