Look, all the vineyards up here deliver great experiences, you can't go wrong. But you can't visit all of them in one trip, so you check the reviews to plan your short time wisely. I'm here as seasoned help to say you can save this one for last, and I rated low to help guide you. If there were only a handful of wineries up here, it would probably be a 4/5. But in reality there's a TON of them up here.
The wine is good, not mind blowing good, but good. The tasting room is what holds this place back. It's crowded and without character. The balcony for outdoor enjoyment is also small but has somewhat decent views.
You'll enjoy your time here I suspect, just don't go out of your way for it, ok?
Awesome view from their patio where you can see both the east and west arms of the grand Traverse Bay on each side of the property. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. There wasn't a whole lot of wines I liked there just because I stick to sweet wines, but a few were pretty good. I'm not saying their wine is bad, just doesn't fit my palate. I used a Groupon when I went and it was an awful value for what you got.
My wife and friends checked out this beautiful vineyard during a weekend away, we loved the wines and loved the views. Great service and a knowledgeable staff makes everything easy here, they were on top of everything.
Great wine and even better location! The service is pretty good as well. I've gone twice and it was great both time.
Great view and customer service. Nancy (I think that was her name) was wonderful!!! Definitely worth a visit!
My boyfriend and I took a trip up to Traverse City with the intent of seeing an amazing vineyard. That is exactly what we got and more! The view is absolutely breathtaking and the wine was fantastic. Without a doubt one of the best parts of our trip!
Lovely views, decent wine, definitely quieter than the rest of the wineries (which on a Saturday in the summer is a great thing!)
We visited here when it was brand new and would have given it three stars then. The wine has improved and it's a beautiful facility and location. Definitely try the reserve Chardonnay if it's available.
Once finished the views of the bays will be magnificent. The wine is young but has great potential. This is a must visit. Justin and Barbi are great hosts.
