A great historical park for a dark moment in history. Great to see how the area and people lived back then and how they recovered. The driving tour is educational. Very historical area. The museum has some nice displays and very informative.

A terrific place to learn about the tragedy in Johnstown. There is a wonderful diarama explaining the whole scenario, plus a graphic movie that depicts the horror experienced by those in the path of the flood.

Very powerful exhibit and information about the tradgety of 1889 flood. To understand it and raise awareness is a wonderful way to honor the memory of the victims and the town's resilience. The film is very powerful experience and highlights the true horror of the flood; not great for kids or sensitive viewers, bit very powerful and sobering experience. The Junior Ranger program (takes an hour or less) is good and is based on age but doesn't quite guide a kid through the exhibits, it's a lot of hunting and finding answers.

Great place got to watch the movie by my self. Movie was really, really good, go out of you'r way to see it. People there were very proud of the movie, cant blame them.

Very Scenic! A great place to take the whole family. My fair warning is the movie can be scary for children under the age of 10. This is by far the best place to go to learn about the Johnstown Flood. There is a location in downtown Johnstown, but doesn't have as much information on the flood. There also is a place to have a picnic when the weather is nice.

Wonderful museum and tour our delightful and informative 6 hours were free (we have the National Park Lifetime Pass), but we were of course glad to make a donation anyway. Great 4-hour van tour by our well-informed and entertaining guide, Nathan Koozer. But be sure to sign up in advance, as it was completely sold out (only 12 seats available) in advance the day we were there.
