Good, standard fare, though perhaps a little pricey for what is offered. Seafood is fresh, and the baked goods are particularly tasty. Friendly service. Lots of great craft beer on tap with obvious attention placed on the selection - after all, a brewery is on the way!

They have remodeled since we were last there. Looks great with a new big bar. Food is always good and portions are huge. Love this place.

Tonight was our 2nd visit ever. We we're so impressed last week during our 1st visit that we decided to go back and give them another chance to disappoint in any way. They did not! I think we have found our "go to" place. I recommend their seafood dishes, and chicken tenders are definitely the best around- hands down!

Went with my family while on vacation. Buy one, get one free fish and chip dinners on Tuesdays made decision making easy for my daughter and I, as did the $1 oysters. Ended dinner with one of their amazing ice creams. Great service too!

We had a good experience here but it was a bit pricy. Tuna melt and chicken tenders were $20, with no sides. We grabbed a whole apple pie to go and no joke it was the BEST apple pie we've EVER had.. Not too sweet, no gooey mushy apple mess, perfect crust. Absolutely delicious, I'd drive the 45 minutes back there just for that pie!!

Had the jumbo lobster roll; expensive but well worth the money. The coleslaw was a little plain but the mixed green salad was delicious. Well over a pound of lobster in the roll, and the roll was homemade. Best I've had all summer. Definitely returning for the ice-cream, too.

I have to say i was disappointed this time at Johnson's. Scallops we undercooked and portions we very small. Took a while for everything. My other half had the prime rib and it wasnt as tasty as usual he said it was very bland

Good quality food at very reasonable prices. Nice family style atmosphere, and friendly staff. I was personally happy to see a wide variety of seafood options, that didn't break the bank!

The food was cooked to perfection. When we were there it was passed lunchtime, but not quite suppertime and we hadn't eaten lunch so we were really hungry. When we didn't really find what we wanted on the lunch menu, we asked the waitress if we could see a dinner menu and she produced one immediately. Of course, there was too much food to finish and have dessert, so we were able to bring leftovers home. The dessert we had was a key lime cheesecake which was to die for!!! All in all a wonderful celebratory meal, as I had just been given the all clear from my doctor to be able to go swimming after a long time since a surgery and was told I didn't need to come back to see him (long trips to Dartmouth Hitchcock).

Considering the limited options around, this is one of the better places to dine. The ice cream is great and the portion sizes of the ice cream is enormous. Reasonable prices on food. However, the wait staff should learn to spread people out, we were the third group in the restaurant (so pretty empty) and they sat us all near each other.l

Foods pretty decent overall, expect to pay a little bit for the seafood. Always have had great service and seems to be kid friendly as well for families. All in all it's worth checking out

Come here about once a year with family while visiting the area in the summer - usually for ice cream but sometimes dinner as well. The food is always good, no negatives from me. Have run into a long wait once or twice though.

The real draw for my family is the ice cream as the portions are huge and great on a summer evening. Four stars for the sometimes unorganized nature of the staff working the ice cream window causing a longer wait than would be expected. Great otherwise!
