Food/service isn't necessarily "terrible" but it's also not good. Food is adequate at best. Service is terribly (I mean this to the extreme) slow!! Some of the slowest I have ever had at a restaraunt!! In the 10+ times I have been here (not by my choice) I have always waited at least an hour (even up to 2!) to get food. Place only stays in business because it is one of the few restaurants in Madison. My advice, skip it and drive to Geneva, Mentor, or Painesville. Even with travel time, you'll have your food soonerplus it will probably taste better.

Friendly service! Amazing food! Only thing is that it take a while for the food to come and you only see the waitress three times.

Nice decor inside and nice patio. Decent food, but service tends to be slow. Food coming out can be very lengthy to arrive at the tables. Don't plan on coming for dinner unless you have an hour and a half for dinner.

Really good food AGAIN. Really nice server AGAIN. Have enjoyed every time I've dined here-- of course having excellent company at your table, which also improves any meal, is entirely up to you.

Friendly service. Old dried out food stains on the walls. The food depends on what you order. Sometimes you'll receive a quality meal. Other times you receive a dish prompting ones mind to ponder, ''Am I truly expected to pay for this?''
It's a great place for drinks. no wait, no it isn't. Order a mixed drinks and expect well liquor. I was one of 4 patrons clothed in a shirt with a collar. Did I somehow managed to be interpreted as one who cannot afford quality adult beverages?
Oh, I should mention that one of my collar baring brethren was a man who's shirt was reminiscent of a 70's Italian restaurant table covering. Red and white striped in cross hatch pattern. Though indoors he never took off his hat. This hat being a straw hat of the cowboy variety. At least he was clean. Unlike many of the other patrons.
If you find yourself in Madison Ohio seeking Italian food you'll need to expand your search to different towns.

Great food, absolutely poor service. Long wait to get waited on. Long wait for beverage. Long wait for salad course. Main entre came seconds after the salad arrived. Waited again for the check. Interestingly, more empty chairs than filled chairs. Is this a sign? Possibly server was a neophyte.

We gave our name and there was a wait so we received a pager and went in the bar area. Waited almost an hour and asked hostess when a table was ready. She called our name over 45 minutes prior and we said the pager never went off. Her reply, "I don't always use that" really!!! Why give someone a pager and then not set it off when their table is ready. This Hostess has been there for a couple years at least. Must be a relative of either the owner or the manager because she's definitely not Hostess material. Spoke with the Manager and no apology from either the Hostess or him we left.

Drink specials are really good, food is ok. The broccoli chicken pasta was good, but could have used some more seasoning. Salads are huge and good, packed full of stuff. Chicken Marsala was very good too. We love the garlic balls that come with dinner. The indoor/outdoor patio is really nice! Love the wind blowing through, but protected from the sun/rain. Service is always great.

In the same vein as a chilli's or other chain restaurants. It's a tick better than those are though. Well staffed and clean. Semi-outdoor eating in the summer, some live entertainment on weekend evenings. Really wish it was open for weekday lunch.

Great food but weird how they seat. I was in a group of 4 & we were seated in a small boothbut 2 pairs of couples separately were seated across from us in large booths. I was not with small men. But the food was phenominal! Great service too..worth the wait.

My favorite restaurant in the area and it's not even close. I come here for the Italian dishes, and I've never had a bad one. The pizza comes from Longo's, which is one of my favorite pizzas in the area as well. The staff has always been great for me, and they have always been quick to rectify any issue that arises.
