Kevin W. Was the host with the most. He took time to explain the menu options, served well as he juggled many tables during a very busy Saturday night. The food was perfect temperature, taste. GREAT first time experience.

I absolutely cannot believe the reviews here. I went to Joe's and had the best service, forgot my waiter's name, and food? it was yummy! I had the bucket of crabs and shrimp, it was delish! Will definitely be a staple whenever we visit.

Food is not bad. Huge place with outdoor seating and even a small playground for kids. Staff is friendly. Cute decor.

Best queen crab I have had in many years. Hot food cooked very well. Prices ok, basic decor and tables rustic. But the crab was superb.

We had a wonderful experience tonight. Our family of seven was seated immediately and our server, Chris, was exceptional. Our drinks were never empty, our food was hot and delicious, drinks from the bar were also quick and delicious, the restaurant was clean. We really enjoyed our evening at Joe's Crab Shack! We will definitely be going back!

First of all the only reason I gave it 1 star was because I couldn't rate it unless I did - otherwise I would have given it 0 stars.. We had to wait on a list for over an hour, and then the food was okay but not so great I'd be excited to go back again - in fact I will NEVER go back again because of the way our issue was handled - which was handled by them saying I'm sorry, but offering no adjustment to our total bill - ergo they did nothing. We all ordered and sat there waiting on the food. I even had time to post to Facebook check-ins and post it . Then they came out and told us they were out of most of what was on the East Coast Platter that two of is ordered. After that letdown and an inner family argument that was caused by their mistake, I had to wait even longer on some fish I ordered because I was too hungry to eat nothing. I told them I was very unhappy and didn't get what I'd wanted, and the manager said I'm sorry and offered to do nothing and moved right over to tell someone else at our table she'd take the order off his bill because he thought it tasted bad and couldn't eat it. I even asked the waitress about it and she did nothing either. I don't remember the manager's name except that she was, of course, female.. And she had long dark hair worn as a pony tail and she also wore dark rimmed glasses. Don't waste your money on this place.:(

The service was great and the food was delicious. We had an issue with our meal that happened to be the vendors fault. The manager handled it professionally and considerately. Definitely recommend it. You don't always get service that good.

Fun, spacious atmosphere with a waterfront option. Great views of the fireworks on the boardwalk during the Summer. Very friendly and helpful wait staff. Great selection of food at a reasonable price. Fun photo opportunity at your table, for an additional cost.

I was wanting to go to Joe's Crab shack all year because many mom's i have had play dates with said that they have great seafood on Broadway in South Carolina. My grandmother and I had the worst experience ever my grandmother, son, and I was taking to very dirty tables and chairs and under the table, and the host responded very ugly when my grandma asked for a clean area; saying that she tried to clean the best she could. Than the waitress took the longest time to get the drinks and it seems like she forgot about us because after about 10 minutes a sweet guy came over to ask us about our drinks, saying that she just asked him to take it. She never put my sons order in early like i asked because my son was dozing off instead she brought it out with our food when i order his during our drinks. The pot that i had with the crab legs and corn also shrimp was cold, she brought my son the wrong sauce and than lied and said we were all out and than brought some a couple of minutes later saying oh i didn't know where to get it. Than my son dropped his bib and she told him they do not have anymore, and lied i had another person to bring us one. She never refilled our drinks, and treated the two tables next to us so kindly and i had my grandmother with me. I will never tell anyone from anywhere to go here, especially from another state like I am from. I think this place has bad customer service and never got an hot plate neither did my son. Oh yeah the host never brought my 4 year old his crayons like she said she would, i had to get another person to do that because my waitress lied and said they're was no crayons. I went on 10/3/16 night, and it was not the best experience ever.

My first time ever to Joe's Crab Shack, although the place was packed the seating was speedy and the service was great. Our server was Nathan and he did a fantastic job. The food was delicious! As much as i love shrimp i couldn't finish my 2 lbs of Shrimp. Would recommend to any seafood lover!

Our waitress Emily was great! She took time to check on allergies information even though she seemed to have a lot of other tables that she was waiting.

The food was decent, but nothing special. It was basically steamed crab legs.

The deserts are all the same cake just with different condiments on them.

The biggest drawback is the heat. The restaurant was hot!

I am a newbie to Joes. Cheryl was our waitress. Ordered the seasonal Corona Shrimp pot and loved it! Food and service was great. I signed up with their club and did not receive my email which includes a free appetizer. Explained to Cheryl that I did not receive my email yet, she still waived our garlicky Mussels appetizer!! I am confused by these other reviews. Cheryl attended our table timely and was attentive. I will definitely return!!
