It's a small store but the owner is nice, they have a wide variety of things in that small space, and the price was hard to argue with. It seems to be a one man operation which would explain them being closed, but I prefer a smaller store owned by some guy over a store owned by some corporate group. It just felt more at home somehow.
Not bad for a flee market shop, not a large selection of military gear or military grade but again it’s a 500sq ft store.
Few items to bring back the ol' 82nd Airborne Blackhawk crewchief days! Need more patches, stickers and simple stuff to accent a visit. 3D cool ones that is!
Much like a previous shared review, I found the store closed when they advertised as open (both on Google and their posted shop hours at the retail location). I'm annoyed more at myself, because I read the review that posted they drove an hour yet found them closed upon arrival. I arrived firmly in the middle , and yet they were closed on Friday. Please update your hours or actually be there when you say you will be. I will add further that I spent the money I intended to spend there at another local surplus store, and they were grateful for your mistake.
Nice store
Drove an hour to get here. Kind of a shame you don't update your store hours on google. On Fridays, Google said your hours were 9 to 5. Sure enough when I got there, the sign said you were only open until 3. Furthermore, the number 3 looked like it was just boldly written over the number 4. That means your store at one point (on fridays) used to close at 4. Now that it closes at 3 not only means you have failed to update your hours with Google twice, but it also means I wasn't even able to get what I was looking for after a one hour drive up there.
The setting was a bit small but the place was packed with a variety of goods ranging from camouflage to gas mask bags. The owner was very nice, I was able to get my purchase a bit less than what it cost on pricetag which was awesome.
The owner was very knowledgeable, and the prices were good. He is not pushy at all. He sells good quality merchandise too. My husband bought a pair of 511 boots, and he wore them all day. The boots didn't even need a break in period. I would recommend them to a friend, and would go back again.
Flea market setting. Very limited supply. Reasonable prices "if" you can find what you're looking for.
