Traveled to Put-in-Bay with my husband and in-laws. Used to take the Jet dozens of times when I worked at the Bay as a college student, and thankfully their prompt service and speed is still next-to-none! Enjoyed yet another beautiful trip to the island.

Used this ferry company to go to Put-In-Bay over Memorial Day weekend and it was a great experience. First thing to note is when you're using google maps for directions here, make sure you put in Jet Express Parking. I didn't do that and when I got to there, it was a crowded weekend already with the local town festival that I missed the parking sign and crossed the draw bridge where I then I had to turn around and go back. On my way back over the bridge I got stopped due to the draw bridge being lifted for boats to cross through. Other then that little mishap, I was able to park the car my car there for a daily rate of $8 and walk over to the ticket counter to pick up my reserved tickets my friend left for me. The ferry runs fairly often and if you want to wait and have a drink there is the Jet Bar right there. The ferry was quick and clean and I was very happy with the trip. I got my ticket for $33 round trip from Port Clinton to Put-In-Bay and if I get a chance to go back I will definitely use this place again!

It's a pretty fun ride! It's faster than the Miller Farry. It you have Triple A card you can get a discount on tickets-- they are pricey!

If you park in the Jet Express parking lot, for 2 people roundtrip to Put in Bay, your total cost will be 84.00 on the Jet Express, which includes parking for your vehicle. We ended up using Miller Boat Lines and took our car to Put-in-Bay and it was about $20 less total cost. It took 16 minutes to get to Put-in-Bay on Miller Boat lines. We do like the Jet Express, but their prices have skyrocketed in the past few years. Both are excellent forms of transportation to the Bay.

The good:

Fast transportation to and from Put In Bay (and other points) back to Port Clinton.
Well kept and clean boats.
Friendly staff.

The Bad:

A little expensive, $33 per adult for round trip between Port Clinton and PIB. That's not car ferrying rate, just walk on rate.
A little air conditioning would be nice when stuffed into a cabin overflowing with people on a hot and humid Ohio summer day.

Clean and travels to several points; BUT if you are simply going to Put-in Bay, take the Miller Ferry from Port Clinton. It was about 1/3 the cost, a shorter trip, more frequent trips, and starts earlier. You can also take bikes or your car on the Miller. Note that the Miller doesn't drop you off at the main part of the island but they do have carts there you will need to get there early though to rent one.
