Had to fight over a warranty repair. Asked to speak with area GM rep Larry Harrington and was told he doesn't speak with customers. Had to call GM Customer service to get this covered. Definitely not customer focused. Nice people at dealer but looking hard at Honda and Toyota. Going to buy 2 new vehicles in next month. Getting rid of my GM's because of this attitude.
I was treated kindly and professionally. The service person listened to what I had to say. He kept me informed of my vehicle and explained what repairs my vehicle needed. I've been taking my vehicle to this place for years and this experience was by far the best I've had.
First time here. Went in for estimate on repairs for collision. The person who did the estimate was very polite. Will update after my car has been repaired. Also, they have a great selection of cars for sale!! New and pre-owned.
Do Not Trust! It'll cost you! Jeff Schmidt explained to me that it was Necessary to get the additional warranty on my Aspen that was purchased there, so I purchased the easy care warranty on top of the $1100 vehicle price.on top of it all I have called and left messages, and got no response. Poor customer service
Less than two weeks after purchase, ( I drove less than 30 miles) the manifold cover gasket went out. $ 1200. The easy care paid for $130 of the remaining balance. I trusted them to do a full check over on the vehicle. I've spoken to many mechanics and it should have been noticed under inspection and put down in their vehicle inspection report, but was not. I will not be using this company again, and will let everyone I know about my bad experience.
The sales team here is great, we had a couple issues but they worked to make it right and we got the perfect car for us. Definitely ask for JJ if you stop in👍👍
Absolutely terrible. Went there multiple times to buy a car or truck. Was called and told they would give me the price I wanted for my car. Showed up and was offered $5,000 less. Wasted 2 hours for nothing. Then the salesmen got mad after I called him out on his lies and bs and that I'm not wasting my time. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would never go back or recommend anyone to go there. There's many dealerships in this area that will treat you with respect.
Typical, slimy car lot. They have a vehicle that books for $14,200. Window says $17,988 and the online price is $14,488. Initial call, I said we can save all the time, I'll come pick it up for $13,500. "We may have a few hundred but not a thousand, I'll call you back. ::call back:: yeah, we're firm on that price." Well, it books on NADA for less than $14,488, and it's funny how they love to show you NADA on a trade, but won't go by NADA on a sale. Okay, call me if you want to actually sell the car.
A few days later I call back, come down to $14,000 and I'll come get it. "We're firm on the price." Okay. Call back again a week later, mind you, they've had the car for 3+ months and still haven't sold it or moved on price: come down to $14,200, book, and I'll come get it. "We're firm on the price." Fine. Call back a few days later still, take $125 off the car and I'll come get it. No call back for 5 hours. I call back, "we can't get a hold of the manager, it's Friday and it's pretty busy." Okay, I'll just take it at the full price, I get a call back NINE minutes later, "where do we fax the purchase order?"
Funny how they call you back instantly at full price but can't take $125 off a car to move it? Do I need to come give a class on how to sell cars? Let's say they gave too much in trade, that's life, welcome to car sales and depreciation. So, soon they'll auction it for way less than $14,000. And to ice the cake, I am a return customer that let them rob me on my 2010 Camaro SS 3 years ago so I figured they'd move for a return customer. They're literally just waiting for the sucker that does no research and buys emotionally.
The salesman was very friendly and professional; treated my daughter and me with the utmost respect. Along with his boss (who was awesome) they were able to get my daughter a great deal on a 2017 model. And it was my daughter's birthday! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great deal and professional service.
Toby and every one else I met here were all very helping. They took my requests very seriously, and they kept me informed of the repair process all the time. And I was offered a loaner car for free when they found the job could not be finished within a single day. Of course, the waiting area was clean and spacious, with awesome Corvette sports cars next to us. I think I will be back here should my car need another service.
Frat house atmosphere. I caught the salesman in 2 lies about the car and an offer from another dealership. Bought same car at another dealership with a more professional for less.
I was greeted with a smile as soon as I stepped out of my car. We had the pleasure of working with Tim Barker who was helpful, understanding and professional. Will be sending everybody I know in need of a car to him!
Bright , Clean. Spacious, comfortable waiting area .television and coffee provided .children's play area. Fast friendly service. Convenient service hours
I have recommended Jeff Schmidt to a friend, Nancy Miles. Nancy went to the dealership the following week I bought my Equinox and also bought an Equinox :) I bought my Equinox on March 4 and she bought her's March 11. Nancy is very satisfied with her Equinox and has had no issues with it.
On to my issues, I was treated with respect and I feel I got the attention from the employees in listening to my concerns. They addressed the transmission issue and that is fixed. The noise in the front while making sharp turns is still there. The dealership did everything to try and get that noise out of my car and it wouldn't make it. My husband and myself drove the Equinox as well and neither one of us could get that noise to show itself while at the dealership. However, it soon began making the noise again the next day. We were told to bring it back if the noise came back. We are going to wait just a little while to see if it goes away.
I give Jeff Schmidt a Five Star out of Five
This is quite possibly the worst experience I have EVER had, over a long period of time. Across the board.Sales, service and now management all included. After purchasing 2 cars at 2 different locations, then (like a fool) going back 3/2017 to purchase another I was told after a test drive they would fix the vehicle and call me.They sold it to a friend of the Manager. RED FLAG.Management even contacted me and told me they wanted to make sure I was satisfied and got what I wanted.(or did not leave a bad review)
I am being generous with 2 stars only because of a sales person named George Webb who seemed to be the only redeeming quality of my entire 4 year experience with J Schmitt, he worked with us a few years ago to sell us our daughter's suv and he is straight forward and honest. This I could have used on 3/2017.
