Nice 🌲🌱🌿🌳🍂🍃🌾
Just one thing too much geese poop
They have strict pool rules, they wouldn't let my daughter go on the deep side with an adult. But it's a nice park.
Very fun, there's a playground and its a great place to exersice as well.
I love to just sit and watch the ducks. One of the largest concentration of ducks I've ever seen. I think it's because people feed them which is not a good thing for the ducks.
It's a nice Park, not much for fishing, lots of bull- head's ( cat- fish)?
Great pool. Great lagoon for fishing. Lots of walking/hiking trails. Great picnic areas. Well groomed and clean.
Always beautiful and well kept. Only down times are when rude people are not challenged by the park rangers about parking on grass or driving on walk ways.
The best dog park ever. Even if you don't have a dog, it's the perfect morning or after breakfast stroll. Great spot for some cardio if you fancy a jog on or off the path. It's a good workout trying to run up the sand hills from the beach. It can get windy so be prepared with a light jacket. Lots of parking.
Jackson Park is a fairly active city park adjacent to the Kinnickinnic River Parkway that includes a variety of paved paths, a pond for fishing, a playground, swimming pool, and plenty of picnic space. Great location for Independence Day fireworks too.
It cannot get any better than this. It is a short walking distance from home. It has picnic areas, playgrounds, swimming pool, a fishing pond, areas for walking and running. The park is well maintained and clean; most people put the trash in the trash bins and maintenance keeps it clean. It is a good area to relax.
Centrally located on the south side of Milwaukee, Jackson park offers everything you could want in a park except a golf course. There are paths that travel all over the park. The park itself is heavily wooded with a very dense section splitting the center of the park. A large lagoon with two islands is near the northern end of the park. (Occasionally there are paddle boats for rent.) There are three pavilions (one is open air) that can be rented for weddings, meetings, etc. There are baseball diamonds, multiple soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, volley ball areas and a play area for children. Near the large pool is a free standing exercise machine. There is no parking area so all parking is done on the streets that enclose the park or the single road that crosses the park. There are summer concerts held in the park and it is always available for a bike ride, a good jog or just a nice walk.
