We have been renting units in the Aspens and Teton Pines for around 30 Years. This year we rented a unit in the Aspens for five weeks through Jackson Hole Real Estate Company (JHREC). There was an attempted burglary of our car and ski box while we were parked in front of the unit. This was the first time we have ever encountered this sort of issue anywhere that we have rented in Jackson Hole. The JHREC manager Grace Burnett and other staff members basically blew us off when we reported this serious security issue. We also advised them of a noise issue here. (People banging in and out of a nearby unit at 3 and 4 AM for several days now.) The people we have spoken to at JHREC told us that these issues weren’t their problem. They refused to notify the unit’s owner or the homeowner’s association. They put it on us to do so. We do not know how to contact the owner. We took the time to notify the homeowners association who was very responsive and agreed that they and the owner should be made aware of this issue. The people at JHREC were unresponsive and frankly insensitive to our security and noise concerns. They were not customer focused in the least. We had to do their job in looking after the owner’s interests. I will not deal with this company again.
