I took my fiancee here for her birthday the second weekend in May. The two gals who took us on a trail ride were very knowledgeable, and even though we were the first ride out of the year, the horses were very well behaved. I'm not the most confident rider, so this was a huge plus. The views are unbelievable - comparable to broke back mountain or lord of the rings. they also have three adorable dogs that come with on the trail ride and "supervise" the horses. Apa and Goose are especially cute.
be careful, because the address on your maps APP on the apple phone doesn't take you right to the ranch, it takes you 3 miles past it. Coming from Jackson, the right is right before you get to Bondurant on the left side of the rode directly across from the Bar/gas station.
I would absolutely go back. We were charged $85 per person (2016 spring price) for a 4 hour ride very reasonable for what you're getting.
This place is a hidden gem! The horses are gorgeous and the guide was very friendly, knowledgeable & accomodating to our family. We enjoyed a beautiful trail ride with Alex as our guide. The prices are good, the backdrop of the mountains is perfect and we were thrilled to find this place. We will highly recommend Sleeping Indian and come back next time we are in the area.
